"My, my, how things can change over 200 years of absence.... Please, do show us this digital technology." Said Mayuri to Akira and guestured him to show. Hearing this Akira smiled as he bit the pocky stick in half and pointed the half in his hand towards the labs back wall as he begain to walk. "Well, Not everyone has access to this room but,... I guess I can trust the two former Captains of my division." Akira said to the two just as he reached the wall and pulled what appeared to be a small peice of plastic from his headphones headband and waved it on a section of the wall where a red light then appeared before the wall begain to move. As the wall opened it revealed a small 15'x15' room that was barely lit by four small lights. "Welcome to the new surveillance room Captains." Akira said to Mayuri and Kisuke with an out streached hand as to be showing them something he had alota pride in.

As he walked in the room the floor begain to light up in blocks for every square he steped on. "Well, Are you two commin in or should I just view these images alone.?? .... Pull the digital images on the lab from five minutes ago." As Akira finished these words a holographic image of the labs layout appeared in the air in front of Akira then a females voice spoke. "Please select the desired location of the lab Captain Tanaka." After hearing this Akira touched the section of the lab they all were in and a 3D images of Mayuri and Kisuke speaking appeared in the room.

"Tell me, Mayuri, did you create this? I don't believe i've ever heard of it before.".... "Of course I did.....I extracted the blood of a hell butterfly and mixed it with carbon. It's quite tasty. Go ahead, try it if you like."

Kisuke was also intruiged by the new digital technology the soul society was using. He watched Akira pull the device from the headphone band, and open the room. As this happened, Kisuke had a curious look on his face. He saw the floor lights light up as Akira walked into the room. "Well, Are you two commin in or should I just view these images alone?" Kisuke stepped into the room, and watched the squares as the lit up when he stepped on them.

"Very impressive. Technology has indeed come along since our times as captains." He was impressed with how rapidly the soul societies technology had advanced. He saw the hologram of the lab appear, and then, the surveillance from five minutes earlier appear. He had an idea. He looked at Akira and smiled. "You don't think THIS camera may have caught our little rat, do you?"

"Of course it did, after all, it's digital." Mayuri said as he walked into the room, uncaring of the lights that lit up beneath him. He found these to be rather more of a nieussance seeing as he preferred darkness. However, he was truly intrigued by the rest of the technology in this room. He looked at the hologram of him and Kisuke from earlier. "Interesting, it has captured all of my features, it's not just a two dimensional image." he said as he rubbed his chin and began to tinker around the maching, checking out the technology. "Impressive." he said as he looked inside of it and noticed there were very few wires. Everything inside of it was much smaller than what he had been used to working with. He then looked around the room as he noticed all of the other gizmos and gadgets. "I think I might have to hide out in here every once in a while. Although, if I do, these light up tiles would have to go!" he said as he lifted a foot up and began to move it up and down on a tile as the light turned on and off.

"Enough play." he said as he walked back over to the other two. "We need to find this 'rat' as Kisuke put it--" he started as he stood at the hologram machine again. He thought calling this traitor a rat was an insult to rats. "Well, go on!" he said to Akira. "Give it your command so we can see it." Mayuri said as he grew irritated from being impatient.

"You don't think THIS camera may have caught our little rat, do you?" Kisuke said to Akira after seeing the image of himself and Mayuri in the room, just then Mayuri walked in and spoke. "Of course it did, after all, it's digital." After hearing this Akira shifted his glasses and begain to reply. "Well.." but before he could finish Mayuri interupted commenting on the holographic image of himself and how he would like to use the room sometime. After a moment Akira made a loud throat throat clearing noise as to catch Mayuri's attention and as he did Mayuri took the initiative to end the pointless talking as if Akira and Kisuke were the colprits.

"Well as I was about to say, Some of the images recorded in the data base seems to be slightly distorted due to the anomaly created by Captain Kurotsuchi, But if we can pin point where the colprit was exiting the seireitei by watching the video feed then I may be able to clear up the distorted image." After saying this Akira put his hands together for a second before spreading them apart causeing a holographic keyboard to appear. He then placed his palm over it and flicked it towards Mayuri and repeated it flicking it towards Kisuke causeing a keyboard to be set in front of them. "Ok, just set in some of your infomation to the system and when your finished you will be able to command the system by voice."

Kisuke listened to Mayuri ramble on about his desire to use the room, which was rather pointless. Akira knew the both of them would want to spend time in this room and research the technology when he showed them the room. He wouldn't have shown it to them if he didn't plan on keeping them out of it. Soon after, though, Akira cleared his throat to get Mayuri's attention. Kisuke chuckled slightly and had a huge grin on his face, knowing how badly that would piss Mayuri off.

Kisuke listened to Akira talk about how the images would be distorted because of the anomaly created by Mayuri. Kisuke looked at Mayuri with a frown. "Mayuri, you were so crareless, how could you? It looks bad on my part, as your my protige." Kisuke couldn't wait to see the look on Mayuri's face after saying that. Akira passed them both keyboards and told them to input their information into it. Kisuke input his information into it, and waited for Mayuri to finish.

"EXCUSE ME!!!!???" his voice echoed through the dark room as the walls almost seemed to shake. Outside, nearby birds flew away from being startled. "Never interupt me, I am still your superior." Mayuri said as he walked up to Akira and was in his face. "And my 'anomaly' has nothing to do with your poor digital imaging, Akira." Mayuri had completely ignored the keyboard as Kisuke input all of his information, he was still furious. "How dare you!" he said as he turned his fury on Kisuke. "You must be losing brain cells in your old age, Kisuke!" he said enraged. "My aparatus does not send off any sort of signal that would disrupt anything. Pathetic that slime like you would try to blame someone else for their own problems." he said as he glared back at Akira.

Mayuri, still infuriated, began to input all of his information into the computer. He finished the information up quickly, taking him only a few seconds to input all of the information. "There, now I can command the computer myself?" Mayuri asked with a glare.

After hearing Mayuri's rant Akira could only chuckeled before slowly walking towards the door to shut and as he did he glanced over his shoulder with a grin and replyed. "Captain Mayuri, this 'aparatus' you came through, you say it gives off no sort of signal that would disrupt anything right,... but didn't you disrupted time and space creating it." Then as the door shut Akira turned and smiled as a faint glint of light shined across his glasses. "Im just yanking your chain Captain, but something did distort the images around the excact time the annomaly manifested, and to answer your other question... Yes, you are now able to command the computer now, just give the computer the date, time, and location and the 3D feed will be shown, Same for you Captain Kisuke, the 3D feed will show up before you after speaking the commands."

After giveing his little speach Akira pulled his headphones up over his ears and turned to face the near by wall and begain to mutter causeing three diffrent images to appear. Moments later Akira sweeped his hand through the imges causeing them to vanish before muttering again causeing more images to ppear before him.

Kisuke held a huge grin on his face. Mayuri's reaction to their comments had been more priceless than he could have ever imagined. He wanted to keep this going a little longer, he hadn't had this much fun in a while, but more pressing issues were at hand right now. He'd have to remember this day though when he was bored.

This 3D technology was truly amazing, though. Kisuke spoke the commands to play the feed through the time frame that was missing on the monitor he and Mayuri had previousdly looked at. "Akira, how would we go about cleaning these images up? The are distorted alright, and us 'dinosaurs' don't know how to work your new technology." Kisuke was always excited to learn new things. "Man, all this new information is giving me such a brainer..." Kisuke waited for Akira to explain how to clean the images up.

Mayuri glared at Kisuke. "That's simple, you twit!" he said as he then looked at the hologram in front of him. "Computer, clean the images up!" he said as the pixels then began to clean up on the image as the faces and objects around them began to clear up. "Unlike you, I can figure things out within seconds just by mere observation, Kisuke. While snooping around, I realized that this machine has an auto-fix microchip installed into it. Meaning that at the command, any malfunctions can be fixed properly. Truly marvelous technology, I might add." mayuri finished as he looked at the image. "Computer, fastforward." he said as the image began to speed up. "Now, all we have to do is watch for whoever broke into the lab." Mayuri then froze as his eyes began to spin. "Tell me, Akira, can your machine repair deleted files?" he asked as he stared at Akira with a cold stare, one of lifelessness as if he himself were just a machine, although most of him was. "That way, we can regain those files AND catch the guy who did this so that I can rip his head off with my bare hands!" he said as he held his hands up, half clenched as his face crinkled up out of anger.

"Tell me, Akira, can your machine repair deleted files?" Mayuri asked then stared at Akira with a cold stare, moments later Akira bowed his head slightly and begain to adjust his glasses. "You seen that too huh.." Akira asked then walked over towards Mayuri and touched the 3D image cuseing it to enlarge. "Computer, scan for deleted images." Akira said aloud then waited for the computers responce with his thumb below his chin as his index finger rested on his cheek. Moments later a females voice responded "Deleted images detected Captain Tanaka. To recover deleted memory please input your security code." Akira then removed his glasses and begain to rub the bridge of his nose. "Damn,... Now what was that code...." After thinking for a moment Akira's eyes lit up as his hands flew into the air as he finaly remembered. "Captain Akira Tanaka, security code number 104823010." After a second a fuzzy image begain to appear and begain to slowly clear up as the three captains watched.

Kisuke listened as Mayuri lectured him, telling him it was obvious. It should have been fairly obvious now that he thought about it. Mayuri asked if they could scan for deleted images. Mayuri wanted to crush the traitor's skull with his bare hands. He was sure that, whoever the traitor was, would be more than a match for Mayuri, and himself as well. The technology could also scan for deleted images. Akira asked it to scan for deleted images, and apparently they had been found. Akira input his command, and the images began to appear. Kisuke waited in anticipation to see who the traitor was...

"Excellent" Mayuri said as he watched the image of Nanashi begin to form on the monitor as well as an image of Yukio. "Perfect, there's their deleted information, Kisuke!" Mayuri pointed his finger at Nanashi as a small screen next to his image popped up with text on it giving all of his information. Mayuri read it quickly, his eyes darted back and forth from left to right as he read. "Intriguing..." Mayuri said as he scratched his head. "Nanashi was apparently up Kenta's ass all the time, must be the reason he left. I think he knows something that we don't. However, let's look at Yukio." Mayuri then pointed at Yukio's image as a similar text box appeared much like Nanashi's. He read his as well. "It seems Yukio is just a gullible arrancar that Nanashi tricked. Typical arrancar, always listening to a shinigami." Mayuri closed the two text screens. "There's that information, now, let's find our third culprit that's inside Soul Society." Mayuri said as his eyes shut. "I want to hold his head in my hands!" Mayuri's eyes opened wide as if he realized something. "Akira, who else has access to this room?" he asked as he looked over at Akira. That computer in there has been offline for years now, there's no way he deleted it from that one. He must have gained access into this room." he finished as he waited for the other two to respond.

Akira watched as the images of Nanashi and the arrancar Yukio appeared before them. "Nanashi!!,.. That sand eating dog Koji told me he was apart of the rebelion but I thought he was just blowing smoke." Akira said as he lowered his head in disappointment. moments later Mayuri questioned Akira. "Akira, who else has access to this room?" His eyes widening as he asked. Akira then looked over towards Mayuri and lowered his headphones back around his neck as he begain to rub his head before answering. "Well, There wern't many people with access to this room,.. but, when my former leiutenant was killed awhile back I went ahead and checked his body but his access wand was missing." Akira's voice then started to crackle as his face appeared to go blank of expresion when he finaly realized something. "No! I, I thought that the wand was distroyed due to the horroible shape his body was in.. H, how could I have been so stupid." Akira then pounded his fist on the wall causeing a metal panel to dent leaveing his fist print behind as he pulled it away.
"Captain Kurotsuchi, Captain Kisuke, please continue to look through the deleted images, I will soon return I must attend to something." After saying this Akira bowed to the two captains then made his way through the door with a stressed look on his face.

Kisuke looked at Akira with a curious look on his face. Someone had stolen his old vice-captains access wand? He was sure Akira had a good idea as to who it was. He looked at Mayuri with the same curious expression. "Well, now what should we do? We've gathered all the information the labs offers us." Kisuke persoanlly wanted to spend some personal time in the lab. There were a few things he wanted to work on and test. Kisuke wasn't worried about Akira. He seemed like a smart man, and knew he would contact him and Mayuri when the time was right. Until then, all they could do was continue their normal routines and always be on the lookout. He made his way toward the door of the room to go back to the main lab. "I'm going back to the lab. There's still a lot of work to be done to restore it to it's prior condition."
