Helba was now forced to move. The ever flaming Kyo was creating lava..and Helba was not able to contend with actual lava..though the blue flames were another matter..on top of that she wasn't released..So she wasn't able to deal with either. So up she went. Air-walking a whole foot into the air and crouching as if she was on the ground..but remained in the air.

Bero'lim started strong..but slipped up. Now kyo looked like he had the advantage.. however.. Helba could still sense Bero'lim's reiatsu pulsating strongly. So she didn't want to intervene just yet..as Bero'lim might be offended by it after reaching full power so recently in the fight. She figured either Lord Grand was using his energy as a barrier to avert any potential danger..or was no longer in his seat. Either way..the fight looked like it was reaching it's full height now.

She wondered what would happen next. She couldn't see Bero'lim.

But she wasn't about to underestimate a blood relative.

Grand wasn't so much amused by this fight. This sadly is the true dysfunction. He saw that Beroli'm was getting his goose cooked, it became very obvious who was gonna win this fight, but he was gonna let it drag just a bit longer. If needed he could probably do something to get in the lava, possibly a temporary shield of reistu. But it would be a waste. He was hoping that Beroli'm could at least get out of this. Sure he put on a strong front, but even then that lasted moments. Kyo could keep his current pace all day. Grand was right to make Kyo a Horseman. But was he right to let Beroli'm stay.

This fight however will end soon, whether Kyo beats him, Beroli'm pulls a miracle, Helba steps in, or Grand himself stepping in. This battle was dragging on to long. Any lava or energy would be pushed to the side gently away from Grand with his energy going just under the amount that would possibly drop Beroli'm from pure pressure. luckily with his manipulation abilities he could keep the energy away from them. For now anyway.

((As in you talk about the grapple. Either I'll counter it, avoid it, or let it happen. Just because I'm on people's shit list doesn't mean I was being vague; you should have just asked for further clarification.))

Each of Kyo's counterattacks chipped a little bit more armor from Beroli'm's body, the waves of heat beginning to sear the skin; sweating was becoming a luxury as the glands were being damaged. His Kenpachi-esque charge had taken out most of Beroli'm's energy as well, making him susceptible to each of Kyo's subsequent strikes. Drawing blood, for lack of a better word, was definitely something that put a smile on Beroli'm's face, however, helping him dig even deeper to make his attacks more effective. He damned his natural lack of speed, but being a tank helped, no matter how much weaker he was in comparison to Kyo. Death would have to come first, but Beroli'm knew that, hovering overhead like a guardian angel of sorts, Helba was ready to stop this fight if he couldn't finish properly.

Beroli'm smiles, already weakened, but his blood was pumping ferociously within him. Either he was about to die or a miracle was about to take place. With a silent activation, Beroli'm is suddenly able to slip past the closest drops of magma falling to the floor, slipping through it before the floor underneath him swallowed his body. Without much energy left, Beroli'm uses his primitive Sonido, in conjunction with his time slow ability, to slip out of the path of Kyo's special Cero. With the very last of his own reiatsu, gathering up all of his reserves, Beroli'm fires a Cero out of the eye holes in his visor. The Cero Ojos has the speed of a Bala and the power of a Cero. If this hits Kyo, it should be enough to stun him. If it misses Kyo, Beroli'm will be a sitting duck, as the time-slow will be deactivated. Beroli'm, after launching his special Cero, drops to a knee and watches Kyo closely, following his every move, no matter where he ends up, his Pesquisa strong enough to act as a third and fourth eye.

((I totally forgot I had an ability to slow time to a degree: lucky me))

(OOC: What more clarification do I need than what I said? I asked if I could bash your head into a wall, which you said yes to, and then I also asked if I could grab your leg and fling ya. How could I clarify that any more than that? Oh well. Let's continue, shall we?)

(OOC 2: Woah! Wait a minute! Give me that link to that cero! Speed of a bala and the power of a cero? No way that should have been approved. Hold up...upon looking it up, you didn't describe it right. It's only five times faster than a normal cero, and as strong as a cero that is a strength. Describe it right next time...and not give me a heart attack please...)

What happened? How did that guy avoid BOTH his lava and his custom cero?! And what the hell did he shoot at him?! Kyo tried to dodge, but was a little slow due to his tail being in the roof. The unnaturally fast, cero like blast caught his legs at the second knee joint, sending him into a summersault straight down. What greeted the master of fire was lava created by several quick blasts of flame down. That softened his landing quite well. The fiery creature swam up and crawled out of the mini-pool. "Neat moves, those two were, whatever you did and whatever that was...perhaps you do deserve some respect...wish to continue still? You look a little drained...but at least you've proven your point to some extent...perhaps we could do this again when you're stronger and show me what you can really do..."

He stood ready for battle...if his opponent was still up for it. Somehow dodging both of his own attacks and then that one cero-ish ability. That one took the cake. Easily as strong as his own standard cero (he's average in it) and much faster...that is something to watch out for. But to fight him again when Ber was at his own level...that would make an interesting fight. If he somehow learned from his mistakes here.

Helba was relieved..but didn't bother showing it. Her nephew was alright and he had proven his own ability..though he wasn't on Kyo's level..he still stood defiant and even surprised kyo. She waited for the lava flow to cool before landing back on the ground..using her own energy to hasten the cooling of it so that it was solid and not hot..it would be annoying to get her cloths caught on fire after all..it was immune to her own..but she wasn't so sure it was immune to other types..

"..I believe he's proven his worth..he even surprised Kyo...that isn't a feat to be taken lightly.. Right Lord Grand?"

she put her hands in the pockets of her arrancar robe and stood looking at each of the combatants and her king. She couldn't vouch for him..but he was sure to reconsider Bero'lim's worth at this point..even if Kyo had technically won the fight.. He still did well against a stronger foe..who could ask more?

If he didn't..she was sure she would have to keep her nephew from doing something stupid like attack Grand Chat out of anger..but she hoped it wouldn't come to that point. She wasn't sure if she would stop him or aid him..she was loyal..but blood was always thicker than anything else between two people..or at least thats what the fragmented memories in her head were telling her..

Grand stood up from his head and nodded. Although no respect was really gained here. Sure Beroli'm proved he would last a bit in a supervised match against someone. He looked over the Beroli'm, Fake but 100% convincing smile. “Seems you will stay for now in the Horsemen” and then he looked over to Kyo “And it seems I was right to choose you as well, from Helba's Praise. Surprising you must be hard, you have a strong reputation, I hope you will serve me well” He began to walk out not taking a look back if any were following, paying attention or anything. This meeting was over. And Grand has a lot of work to do. First was to fix all these issues inside this group. He was way behind the other organizations, he could feel it. It would take a lot to catch up with. O fcourse he knew the praise wasn't for Kyo, but Grand twisted it at him. Only Helba could take it back.
