I guess i just wana preface this thread with I am starting it for entirely selfish reasons, I'm kinda tired of randomly searching the web for new animes to start watching so I figured I'd use this site to make a list... lol

Any way the basic point is to list your top five anime (of the moment or all time w/e)... in no particular order excluding bleach cause... I dunno why. Give a description... don't... its up to you. And I guess in the interest of fairness I'll start.

Hmm... top five... top five anime... this is almost too hard, I'm lazy so i won't bother trying to sort out the anime too much. So I guess fifteen is enough, sorry for posting so many... errr... but heres my list of my favorite animes.




1. Robotech/Macross (Both the newer and older versions)
2. Serial Experiments Lain (Personally my number one, but i'd have to rewatch it since its been a while.)
3. Monster (Great thriller, and mentalities of the characters.)
4. Gintama (A good laugh, to me at least, i know much better comedies that aren't anime.)
5. Code Geass, (I found the entire series great, but the ending I absolutely hated.)
6. Gundam Series (Honorable mention, and the plot lines in the first seasons were great.)
7. Aoi Bungaku Series (A good twist of horror, thriller, comedy, and psychological.)
8. Natsume Yuujinchou (Good ideas, something different, but the main character is so-so in my perspective.)
9. Elfen Lied (Disliked the ending, and some characters)
10. Highschool of the Dead (Disliked how the author went with the manga and show, could have done alot more with the ideas...)
11. Clannad (Both the after story, and the original.)
12. Death Note (Hated the ending, but decent enough.)
13. Higurashi no Naku (I like the twists, but they restart the show after every four episodes, and it just ruins the anime if you ask me.)
14. Deadman Wonderland (Ended the story way to fast, the manga is decent though, would have liked to see the anime continued.)
15.To Aru Majutsu No Index (And all the other series in the same plot area. I liked one of the side characters alot beter than the main character, I found him way to Cliche and over used.)
