The hulking Captain of Squad Eleven stood in the middle of the training area that he knew oh so well. He hummed to himself as he looked around the training grounds that were sacred to him. He conjoured up a Hell Butterfly and gave it a message. "To summon the member of his squad to witness his induction ceremony. All were welcome to this battle to see if someone was worthy of calling him Captain Matsumoto". He chuckled then started humming again. The hat his mother had given him rested on his head and shaded his face from the sun. He wore the ripped up haori Captain Taransu witnessed him tearing the sleeves off of and the sleeves off of his kimono too.

"This man better show up, or i am going to make the Squad run laps until their feet bleed, or better yet, they all have to entertain me with a good match". He said to himself as he continued to look around, thinking of holding back or not.

Parius was late, and he knew it. "Damn, thought I would be there by now." He said to himself. He soon saw the field, and his captain waiting for him. He ran in, paused to catch his breath, then said "Sorry I'm late. Got caught up with something" He said, chuckling. He felt the energy in the air, and liked it."So, I guess I am here to prove my worth, I take it? Good. Been waiting for you to call me here."

Parius looked at Captain Keto. He began to sweat. He has heard of Keto's strength, now he was going to see it first hand. Well, it is not gonna be easy, but this should be fun, at least. He drew his Zanpakuto, hands sweaty, and bowed, saying "Shall we?" He was nervous, but still excited. He waited for his response.

((Keto grapples so I am warning you, just need your approval))

"Good, you made it, atleast you came unlike the other who applied fo the position". He turned to look at the boy and smiled quickly before he took his hat off and put it somewhere safe. He looked back at the man or boy, Keto didn't care about age right now. His face became serious as the boy drew his zanpakuto.

"Your objective is to force me into Bankai with my mask. To have this happen, you have to force my mask to appear by almost killing me". The big man slammed his right foot down forcefully and actually cracked the ground. His feet and fists became enveloped in a blue aura that was mixed with black. A wicked smile spread across the big mans face before his body disappeared and a kick was sent to try to connects with Parius' head.

(Im, fine for grappling, Parius is fast though XD Im also going to learn my Shikai hear is that cool with you?)

Force him into Bankai, AND a mask? This is going to be a hell of a fight then. Parius thought, as Keto stomped his foot on the ground. "Damn, they didn't exaggerate your strength, did they? Oh no." he said, as Keto's hands and feet enveloped in blue light, with black. "Um, is it too late to reschedule?" Parius asked, when Keto came at him.

Parius saw the kick, and jumped up, landing on a roof. Damn, he's fast. He thought, a smile spreading on his face. Remember, never give in. A man's voice said. It sort of startled Parius, but he put his attention back on his opponent. He shunpo'ed, and aimed his own kick, trying to take Keto off his feet. Parius followed, by going at his head, with his sheath.

A blood curdling chuckle came from the big captain. His body blurred as he used shunpo to dodge his opponents attacks. "Gotta try harder than that. I heard you trained with Captain Riku Tomoshibi, one of my best friends". As Keto finished up his words his body blurred again abd he sent an open palm at the shoulder/shoulder blade area of Parius, a move Keto knew would break the man if it connected. The move was rather destructive in force coming from the Big Man himself.

"Just feeling you out. It's the type of guy I am." He said, as he backfliped out of the Captains hit. LET ME LOOSE! The voice screamed. Parius gritted, and landed wrong. He fell to his knees, the voice having pained him. My blade's quivering, almost as if it's........excited. Then, everything went black.

Parius opened his eyes, to see that, he wasn't in the training area. He was in a black room, with a single light bulb. "Well, it's about damn time" A voice said, behind him. Parius turned, to see a man, about the same height, though he could've been shorter, wearing black clothes, with long, white hair. But it was his eyes. Such a cold blue. "Never thought you would get here. Jesus kid, I almost thought you were deaf." Parius got up, and asked "Are you my Zanpakuto?" "Well, who the hell did you think it was?" the man said, throwing his arms in the air. "Well, then, don't I need your name then?" "I guess, though it might not be easy. You could still not here me" Parius nodded, then smiled. The man said, "Remember, I am Darkness, I am you, I will......"

"Blacken the Sky, Anokoku" The immediate area around Parius got darker, and his blade turned black. He got up, and looked at his Captain. "I guess I got serious."

Keto smiled as he realized what Parius was going through, finally learning his blades name. As all of that went on He had removed his haori and hung it over a limb and stretched before he he removed his kimono, leaving his hakamas the only piece of clothing left on his body. Afterwards he looked at the boy and chuckled. Seeing the boy release his shikai like that made his reiatsu flare and become dominant. He was going to liven the fight up now and actually use his sword. His left thumb flicked against the crossguard of his blade and brought it out of the sheathe some and quickly his right hand grasped the handle and he drew Ookami.

"Lets dance, and try not to get yourself killed with a careless mistake during this exercise".

As Keto said those words he charged Parius head first, his blade being wielded in one hand. If Parius payed close attention, he would know Keto was the Second Coming of the legendary Zaraki Kenpachi. As he got closer he sent a massive swing down at Parius' chest and then went for a swing across his chest, he was aiming to cut him in half or disembowel him if he messed up and didn't use his tactis against his own captain.

"I'll try" he said, to Keto's words. Hmm, I feel more.....serious. Parius tensed up, and used his speed, to dodge Keto's strikes. "Nice. If one of those had hit me, I would've died." Parius swung his blade, and a black spear appeared. He threw it at his captain, while coming at him. Parius swung his blade at Keto's midsection, then he swung at Keto's arm, hoping to, at least, stop his punches. He shunpo'ed away, and awaited the next move.

As the spear hurtled toward the Big Man he just smiled and swung his sword down, cleaving the thrown weapon in half. He made no attempts to block Parius' other two attacks, letting them sscore their marks. As the blade bit into Ketos flesh he started to laugh and his reiatsu flared more, becoming more dominate as it became more brackish from his hollow side. His eyes went from that dull red to sparkling, becoming alive. He was enjoying this and just needed that initial pick me up from the attacks his soon to be Third Seat had dealt him.

"STRIKE LIKE YOU MEAN IT! AIM TO KILL ME!". He roared with authority as he watched Parius shunpo away. His lips twitched and pulled back to reveal his prominate canines, a feature that made him look more like a wolf. "IT'S KILL OR BE KILLED IN THIS WORLD BOY! YOU WON'T SURVIVE AN INVASION RUNNING AND LETTING OTHERS DIE!". Keto was trying to hit a spot on Parius that would make the boy attack and show Keto what he could do. As he finished bellowing those statements he disappeared and then reappeared right in front of Parius, bringing his sword down full bore and as fast as could, maybe even faster.

"You better hope Captain Tomoshibi shows up to restrain me body, Kenji Watanbe would of died if I didn't hold back, but with my new found powers, I won't any longer". He brought his sword around and did an uppercut slash just as fast and pwerful.

I knew it The young looking shinigami said to himself, watching the fight from a nearby rooftop. Kenji, the vice captain of squad eleven gripped his zanpakutou, inadvertantly releasing a burst of his reiatsu as a small amount of anger rose from inside him. But it wasn't that comment in particular which caused him to fall into a spiral of emotional strife. No, it was what his captain had said about running and letting others die.

It was the invasion which had occurred a couple months back.... Hollows had tested the strength of the gotei thirteen, and where was Kenji? Simply swatted as if he were a mere fly, off to the side like a rag doll. To him, he had run, only to let others die. Why was it that he had to live, yet so many academy students - some promising, others not... yet all good souls - had been slain. Why couldn't he slow the arrancar down; stop them from causing so much death.

Before he knew it, he was gripping his zanpakutou - a simple wakizashi in it's sealed form - standing on the building overlooking the current duel. His reiatsu had flared up, and it would be clear to both combatants that the lieutenant of squad eleven had arrived.

Just because Kenji flared up didn't mean he was going to hang back now. That's the problem with Keto, he barely has any control. "Bakudo 63: Sajo Subaku! Bakudo 61: Rikujokuro!" A golden chain went in to bind Keto's arms as six wide, thin beams of light came in to clamp on the man's midsection. Good thing Riku was a kido expert. Either way, his appearance, along with Kenji's, should grab quite a bit of attention from the two. The short five foot four blonde walked up to his friend. "I think that's enough, Keto. This is a training match, not a life or death one. Come on, calm down." His voice was calm, serene, trying to coax Keto to stand down.

"By the way, Kenji, why don't you come down from the roof and greet your fellow squadmate?" Riku turned slightly and looked at where Kenji was, about ready to interfere himself. Riku just beat him to the punch. The blonde turned back to the two fighters and waited for some kind of response.

Parius's eyes narrowed, as Keto said something about letting others die. Lee flashed in his mind, his best friend, before the Academy, dead from a Hollow attack. "Fine you want serious? You got it." Then, Parius's whole demeanor changed. There was no smile on his face, and his rietsu flared, out of control, around him. He was about to move, when Keto was in front of him.

As Keto brought his strike down, chains appeared on his arms, as six beams of light went around his chest. Parius was not amused, as Riku appeared. He looked at him, as he talked to Keto. I have to calm down. He thought, moving a bit back, and breathing heavily, brought himself under control. "Your lucky, Captain Riku. If I hadn't just calmed down, I would've attacked you." He turned to Keto, and nodded at his Captain. "That last attack, I wasn't going to move. You would've killed me, and I wouldn't have cared."

As the chains wrapped around Keto's arm he growled and knew who it was instantly. As the beams of light made impact with his midsection he growled even louder. His attack was stopped and he was as well. He looked at Riku and saw him talking, but couldn't hear him. Ookami the wolf spirit that inhabitted his blade was trying to calm the Big Man down already, but something was wrong. Parius' words hit Keto and something in him snapped. Keto knew Kenji was near, now all three of them might actually see him with his mask.

His reiatsu sky rocketed out of control, black with almost no hints of blue at all, but they were there. Keto had beaten Oteka who was a demon form of Ookami and himself combined. His eyes got dark the blood red glowing devilishly and then it appeared, slowly. The mask that adorned Otekas face. The demonic Hollow wolf mask that now empowered Keto even more when it was used. His reiatsu got so high the beams of light started to crack and the chain dissipate and once they were gone Ketos left hand seized Parius by the kimono right before his neck and pulled him close to his now masked face and growled, he sounded like a true demon, a demon form of the legendary Zaraki Kenpachi.

"You are a FOOL! NEVER SAY THAT!". Ketos reiatsu was still pouring forth from his body. It had gotten so bad that a horde of hollows would most likely try and invade just to get to the big man to devour him. "THROWING YOUR LIFE AWAY IS STUPID!". As he bellowed these words in Parius' face they came out sounding like a Hollow.

Kenji's eyes narrowed as he looked upon the scene unfolding before him. Jumping from the roof, he held his wakizashi before him.

"Cleave, Kaze Seishu..."

A small eruption of reiatsu enveloped the lieutenant as his shikai was released - his wakizashi elongating and expanding into a silver claymore. The release was merely so that he could be prepared if Keto got out of hand again.
The hollow mask forming around Keto's face came to a surprise to Kenji, but he waited patiently, knowing it would be wiser to let Riku intervene first, when he felt it was necessary. Kenji was now merely backup.

The words which Keto spoke struck home to Kenji, however. Kenji would've thrown his life away for Keto, Riku, and even Parius. It just happened to be the type of person he was.

"You could have. But you wouldn't have gotten too far." Riku frowned at Parius's next words. And was about to respond when Keto did. His mask forming and grabbing Parius's kimono and pulled him to his face to scream at him. Riku was prepared to draw with his right hand, ready to fight Keto of he lost control of his inner hollow. Thankfully, the Seireitei's defense system would deny any hollow attack from happening. At least, no where close to the Seireitei. The blond didn't draw, instead, he put his left arm on the arm Keto is using to hold Parius.

"Calm yourself. I wholly agree with you, Keto, but do NOT lose control over that inner beast of yours. Take deep breaths. And let go of Parius. We can scold him for that train of thought now, but only of you calm down and regain your composure. Like you always are outside of a fight. Come on friend. Please cool it." His voice was soothing and motivating. And hopefully, his words penetrated. If not...things will not be looking good...
