Hiei frowned seeming very exhausted, his view finally took the effect of his enemies attacks. His view became strangely hazy making Hiei feel extremely sick to his stomach. Jeff spoke again but Hiei still wasn't sure what he was saying and to make matters worse, he couldn't lip read because he couldn't even see him. Hiei suddenly felt his shoulder in pain as Jeff slashed out at him, he suddenly felt another pain across his chest. Red, he never knew he could hate a color so much as blood continued to fly into the air from each cut Jeff inflicted onto his body. Jeff then punched him in the face before slashing across his throat drawing more blood to drip down his neck. Hiei quickly covered his neck with his free arm as he felt his body slightly choke on the blood. Jeff grinned darkly as he sonido'd behind him making an ex into his back, before launching his spear into his back. Hiei choked out a strangled cry before shooting back a small bala which was easily deflected.

Jeff then jumped into the air and launched another cero. Hiei could not see it, but he could most certainly feel it as it came down. Hiei was fixing to dodge when he saw a blurred figure in front of him. Since there was only the two of them there, then it was quite obvious that it was Jeff. Something was coming his way, he couldn't quite tell what it was, but he knew it wasn't anything good! Standing his ground a little more afraid of moving Hiei's third eye glowed again, his mind was screaming danger body his eyes couldn't see it. He finally closed his eyes shut tight and began to rely on his impulse. As the Spear came Hiei completely moved his head ignoring the huge deep cut that it gave him across the face and was about to dodge the Cero when he felt the extra slashes pierce his body. The cero hit the floor and erupted sending Hiei grinding against the floor. Hiei slightly opened his eyes just to see his vision even fuzzier then earlier. He closed them again to prevent himself from vomiting. He suddenly felt three cero's coming his way. Hiei had no energy to get away as they all hit him point blank. Hiei grinned even farther away before five more balas were shot at him. Hiei cried out in pain as he was stopped him from going any further was one of the rocks.

Jeff laughed wildly before cutting Hiei up even more, blood splattered onto Jeff's on face as more and more blood began to fly from the impact of the weapon. He then through the spear again that stabbed right into Hiei's other shoulder, causing Hiei to make another agonizing scream. Hiei opened his eyes and saw something come at him, but before he could react he was hit square in the face and against the same rock that had stopped him from grinding. Hiei was panting heavily, for a second there he thought he had blacked out completely. He had a huge bruise right under his eye from the impact of the punch. His red eyes slowly flickered open as he felt for a moment there Jeff was finished. Pressing his zanpakuto into the ground he used it to get himself back up. His body was shaking tremendously as if he was going to fall down any second.

Hiei instantly coughed out some blood and then turned trying to regain focus on Jeff. “yo- you think I'm done... yet?” Hiei choked out able to stand but not for long. Hiei barely had any reitsu left, he griped his zanpakuto and waited for Jeff to dare to come near him, for his last attack would be a close ranged dark Cero that he had been preparing straight at his stomach.

Jeff saw the Cero and laughed "you don't honestly expect that to hit me do you do you now Hiei if you do you are one dumb son of a bitch".He then looked at Hieis wounds "you better stop fighting and throw in the towel or I am going to end up killing you you need medical attention or a lesson in regeneration.Jeffs wounds were minor and recovered quickly after he said it. He grinned "you are one tough son of a bitch and you lasted 10 minutes I congratulate you Demon of Envy. He grinned and walked towards him and reverted to his regular form.

He saw a few apples in a nearby tree and Sonido'd up and got them and brought them down to the man to eat. "You must be hungry after lasting as long as you did eat it will keep your strength up when your done with your apple I will begin to train you". He grinned "First thing is regeneration if you decide you want to live very long". He then picked up his own apple and took a bite and it was pretty damn good. He tossed the man a bottle of water and took one himself and chugged it down. "Belch"

For a moment there, Hiei thought it was all over. Demon of Envy... it sounded interesting, especially since he would have access in learning many different types of techniques.

Hiei was still dizzy from Jeff's weapon and so he closed his eyes until an apple fell into his lap startling him. "You must be hungry after lasting as long as you did eat it will keep your strength up when your done with your apple I will begin to train you". Jeff said as Hiei examined the apple, he was indeed starving but his throat throbbed in pain. "First thing is regeneration if you decide you want to live very long". He said again before eating an apple. Hiei shrugged and took a bight as well, it felt refreshing as he ate it. Taking another bight he slightly choked on it. Jeff instantly tossed his some water and Hiei gratefully drank it down.

“Is this your way of gaining followers?” Hiei asked half joking and half serious. He was very tired from the whole battle and his vision wasn't helping him much. Hiei recalled regenerating, but it has been a while since he used it. Sitting Indian style he began to wrap up his right arm. Hiei learned a valuable lesson, never start fights you can't finish and especially with an higher ranked Arrancar

He looked at the man and then grinned as he asked about gaining followers "if everyone that I have beaten the shit out of were my followers I wouldn't need you would I"? He realized the man was fucked up good and he figured he probably should have held back a bit more.He laughed and began to withdraw his Zanpokuto. "I saw that Cero you were charging and it was suicidal Hiei if you would have fired that my immediate reaction would be to launch my spear through then cut it in half with the scythe and the spear would have killed you". He looked up at the man. "You should have quit earlier in the fight".

Jeff took another bite of his apple and finished it and threw it in the air and launched a Cero to destroy it because he could and he felt like it. He then took his final drink of his water before doing the same to it. He looked as his finger and blew the smoke off like he was a cowboy in the wild west with a nice revolver who had just won a duel.He grinned as he did it and walked off. "Get some rest Hiei you will need it in the morning because we will begin training immediately at 5:45 sharp don't be late.

Hiei rolled his eyes as Jeff stated the obvious, he knew Jeff was right but he was too suborn to actually admit it. His vision was slowly clearing up as Jeff explained to him how he would have kicked his butt if he had shot the cero. Jeff also mentioned that he should have quite earlier making Hiei make a sour face. “To think you'd remember that if I quite I'd lose my life.” he muttered under neath his breath practically inaudible.

It was getting late now, Hiei just sat there feeling himself slowly becoming at ease as the tension began to fade away. He wasn't sure about his responsibilities as a demon of envy, but he did know that until he can get stronger that he will be taking orders from Jeff for a long time. Hiei wasn't sure about Jeff's character outside of the battle field, but he knew he would be figuring it out shortly.

Jeff tossed his apple into the air and blew it up before drinking his water. Hiei watched him blow his finger before walking off. "Get some rest Hiei you will need it in the morning because we will begin training immediately at 5:45 sharp, don't be late.” Hiei frowned annoyedly. 5:45, really? He wanted to complain, but said nothing since he was too exhausted to argue with him. “Hn...” he slightly grunted before he also stood to leave the training ground...
