Despite whatever the assumptions the arrancar may have made, Koga had never taken his eyes off of his opponent and so, he was ready when Arturo attacked. As Koga moved to block the X aimed at him he noticed Arturo immediately dive towards him. Koga moved both of his swords up to block the X, but he was a millisecond to slow, and it hit him head on.

Koga was blown back several feet, his head hitting the ground roughly. Koga slowly got up, and brought his swords up in time to block his oppopnent's initial attack. Then, it was a test of endurance to block Arturo's blows. Koga's speed decreased, and a few of Arturo's strikes managed to nick him. Meanwhile, he also had to deal with the blasts, which only furhter messed with his concentration. Knowing it would only be a matter of time before he grew too bored to care Koga sonido'ed backwards several feet, dodging the incoming blasts and the rest of Arturo's strikes.

Koga raised a hand to the top of his hand, and when he drew it away, blood could be seen. A shallow cut had managed to draw blood. Apparently he hadn't been quick enough. Though the red blood did look Cherry flavored. yeah, what he wouldn't give for a cherry flavored ice cream sandwich.

(In Faitgue State)

Rui rose an eyebrow at Helba. "Is that so? That isn't like him at all. Sounds more like an imposter to me...but, go ahead and find him. Question him. And if he still doesn't seem like the normal Bloodhound...try to leave enough of him for me to punish. Stupidity is almost as bad as undeserved arrogance..." He looked at Jeff, who had released. And smiled pleasently. "Come here, Jeffy!" The arrancar king said in a sing-along and bubbly voice, a red aura surrounding him. Three red blocks nudged Jeff in the back to shift him towards Rui, who had taken out a sharpie marker. If he tried to escape, he would be bound and dragged over there.

The decievingly very old arrancar jumped down from his perch. "Lean down to my level please..." If he didn't comply, Rui would force it. He wrote on the guy's forehead, more specifically writing "EPIC FAIL" in all caps like that. He then forced the head to look at Helba. "What do you think? Don't you think it kind of hysterical that he's trying to look all big and bad among those that can swat him down like a fly?" He asked with a grin on his face. Then Rui patted Jeff's head. "It's okay. Look badass to those that are weaker than you are, not those that are so much stronger than you..." He put the sharpie away and his energy manipulation ability stopped working. But his eyes glowed red, searching for Bloodhound.

He smiled menacingly and turned in the direction he was coming from. "You have some explaining to do, Bloodhound. And you better get to it." The boy warned his subordinate...

Jeff looked at Rui "Sure Rui i'll be right their" he walked over and saw the Sharpie he pulled out a alcohol swab and walked up to him. He let Jun write epic fail on his head then quickly erased it and faced Helba "now Rui I know i'm good lucking but be respectful". He laughed and heard what Helba said. "I don't believe it Helba your lying Bloodhound wouldn't do that and I won't allow you to kill him unless it's an imposter which its not its the same Pressure as his so leave him alone just because you want to fight him. I will not allow it to happen Bloodhound wouldn't do that he'd never do that". Jeff had a hard time swallowing that Bloodhound would do that he knew he didn't he wouldn't have.


"Rui it's not an imposter I know it's not she's lying he'd never do that and i'll fight if i have to to hold his name upright he's to polite to say that Helba you lying which". He figured he was lying he hoped he was or he'd be quite hurt. He knew they often exchanged insults but nothing that major, nothing even close to that. Jeff was near tears he felt that Bloodhound would never do that he hoped he would never do that. Bloodhound was the Arrancar of Pride he would never say that and he knew of Helba's power he would never say that to antagonize her he was sure of it.


"Helba I will teach you not to mess with my friends and lie about them I swear this to you Jeff aimed a strike at her with his hand blade and launched a Cero at her then twisted his scythe around to come down at her. He then launched five Bala and launched his Spear at her which would pierce her Heirro if it hit no matter how tough it was. He then was worried what Rui would think but held back the thought and charged again. He then went for a slash at her throat. He was held back by someone it was him...

Bloodhound was walking through the desert somewhat sorry about what he said to Helba and he went to apologize he was very upset earlier that day. He walked in to see Helba telling Rui about it when he saw Rui stare at him looking very cruel doing so. "I'm terribly sorry about earlier Helba I do hope you can forgive me I was quite upset you see". He said this as sincerely as he could so he was not in deep water with everyone. He saw Jeff stand up for him and was happy to see this. It meant he was trusted ad believed which made him feel sort of happy. He then sort of watched the battle quietly the two combatants were extraordinary one being Arturo one of the oldest Arrancar and someone of close level to Arturo. He watched in amazement.

He then saw Jeff in release a first for anyone to see indeed and he looked like an arms dealer with all the blades. It was nice to see Rui happy and it was quite weird for Rui to have a sharpie on him and Jeff an alcohol swab. He dismissed it immediately. He then released as well "Tear them to pieces with and claw..". His body changed to a much more wolf like figure that he loved. He pulled out wolf and fang and held them close if an attack where to come. He then saw Jeff lunge at Rena in attack.

"Jeff stop" he made his initial assault on Helba. He then watched in amazement for a weaker Arrancar Jeff was doing very good at having Helba off guard. It was almost unreal for such a weak being to do this he continued to watch till the last strike. He then Sonido'd towards them holding claw up to block Helba and Fang to block Jeff. "Enough Jeff I did it I apologized its done okay now stop before you get your self killed okay. He awaited a response hoping for one he would like to end this.

( Keep me off guard? BWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH )

Helba grew irritated as the little insect decided he wanted to play and had hit her in the back with five bala. She spun around just as he threw a spear at her..which she smacked aside with the flat of her Zanpaktou..and a cero which she simply walked right through. The smoke cleared after the explosion and Helba was right infront of jeff with barely any damage on her body from the cero. Thanks to her heirro being one of the strongest..she wasn't even worried about jeff's release.

"you forget your place little boy." She said as she roughly backhanded him and caused him to go flying backwards a few feet just from the sheer difference in their power. It was after this that Bloodhound got inbetween them trying to stop the fight from continuing.

"Hmph.. if you do it again I won't allow you to escape a second time. I will hunt you down and slaughter you." She said that to bloodhound..being as close to accepting of an apology as Helba ever would be. Which wasn't close usually.. in fact it's known that she's only ever accepted one other apology..and that being still died.

She then glared at Jeff and spoke again, "And you..do you honestly think you can do ANYTHING to me?" Her spiritual energy flared up and she focused her spiritual pressure directly onto jeff's being..making it very hard for him to move and breath. She released it a moment later. "You don't have the power nor the skill to take someone of my ability. Don't try it again or you will be killed."

She then decided she was incredibly bored..The fight between Arturo and the other man was coming to an end.. as was Rui's order. so it would be very intense for the next few minutes..but..she didn't feel like sticking around for that. She put her hands in pockets on her robes and walked off towards the direction that eventually led to where Lord Hayato was.

But then she stopped and decided she wanted to see the end of the fight after all..so she retook position by Rui and watched silently.

Arturo gave a small smile when looked at his sword. There was a thin trickle of blood on it. The nicks he had given the Arrancar were incredibly small, but as long as they drew blood, they were as good as fatal. In Arturo's opinion, at least. As the other Arrancar noticed the cuts, Arturo stared off into space for a moment, assessing his options. Whether it be by lucky coincidence, or perhaps the Arrancar had only one ability, Arturo was left with an incredibly useful power.

He considered for a moment, then decided to try to push the ability to it's limit. He sheathed his sword, though he didn't return to his sealed form. Instead, he sonido'd up to the other Arrancar, apparently weaponless. The moment he stopped, about a hundred short swords slid out of his body, creating what looked like a suit of armor made out of layered sword blades. It took nearly as much energy as the Apocalypse Cero, but he managed it, and then brought two swords out of his hands, sending another sonido combo at the Arrancar. A the very least, his tactic should startle his opponent.

Hot fudge sundaes. A chocolate mousse. Vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. Ice cream was all Koga could focus on. It was all Koga could think about. His current fight was of little consequence. The bandaged arrancar turned his empty eyes toward his opponent. Drool slowly trickled down the side of his mouth. Mentally, he was in heaven. Physically, his body was on auto-pilot.

Not comprehending what his opponent was going to do Koga remained stationary. He didn't take the time to attack the opening, for he saw no opening. Only a mountain made of chocolate ice cream sandwiches. Koga's blank eyes tracked his opponent with only the mildest of curiosity as he sonidoed up to him and stopped. Suddenly, a hundred short swords erupted from Arturo's body. if Koga had been lucid, perhaps he would have evaded or dodged the move. Unfortunately, Koga was still thinking of delicious strawberry ice cream and was a fraction of a second slow. Of course, the mindless Koga imitated his opponent with similar swords emerging from his own bandaged body.

Because he was a second late Koga only managed to stop Artruro's blades from penetrating his skin too deeply. He wouldn't bleed to death. Koga still didn't care. I n his mind, he was rolling in a pile full of candy. The candy happened to be gummy worms and he happily gulped them down, enjoying the wiggling sensation they made down his throat. On instinct another two swords erupted from Koga's body to deflect the two swords his opponent aimed at him. Koga stared blankly at Arturo, wondering what he was going to do next.

Rui was glad Bloodhound stopped Jeff. What an idiot. "Thank you Bloodhound for stopping Jeff from getting himself killed...for the moment. Jeff, we'll talk about your place later. You need to stop thinking you are all that. Helba would have killed you and I would have just watched her do it. Grow up, and more importantly, grow a brain and figure out who you can beat and who you can't. Choose your battles more carefully. We'll discuss more later..."

Funny, Rui looked like a child. He glared at Jeff before paying more attention to the ensuing fight. Both combatants unleashed a large number of blades to counter the other. Interesting. Rui decided to allow one more exchange before interfering. The match was definately a close one.

Bloodhound spoke "no problem Rui see you around." Bloodhound Sonido'd away (exit thread.)

Jeff was sitting there an heard Rui speak "jee thanks Rui glad to know i'm valued"... he felt unwanted there and decided he was defecting." No what Rui screw this i'm tired of the constant downgrading and bull shit you give me I'm defecting and joining the Committee." He then opened a Garganta ready to jump through. He figured it was time to get some things off his chest and if he had to he'd jump through mid monologue. He felt unappreciated and undervalued it pissed him off. He was done and there wasn't a damn thing they could do about it.

"I'm tired of your constant downgrading and treating me as worthless I am fucking tired of being your damn joke". He made sure no attack was coming and if it did jumped through the Garganta and was off to the Committee. He had a Cero charged in case he needed it and if he did it would be quite powerful. "I'm tired of this bull shit you always give i'm nothing but loyal but from you i'm nothing bus disposable shit i'm done. Goodbye you son of a bitch". Jeff jumped through the Garganta unless something held him back.

Helba couldn't believe the words that had left the mans mouth. In fact she refused to accept it. Rui wasn't her king but she wasn't about to tolerate anyone who would betray his own kind..she hadn't been able to find fritz..which is the only reason that man was still breathing in the first place..But this one...

The moment Jeff would have turned around to attempt to go through his garganta..he would have been met by Helba..who had sonido'd to be between him and his escape.

"Burn them to dust...Ryuza.." and that was that.. a huge shockwave of spiritual energy burst from her body and turned red like fire..soon after her wings formed around her and then quickly snapped to where they should be..hitting jeff full force in the process to knock him away from the Garganta..while doing so.. a wall of flame formed over the garganta to prevent anyone from sonido'ing through it..a belt of flame now circled her waist now too. She used this to create a half ring of flame behind and to both sides of jeff so he couldn't run from her next attack without going into the sky...

"you insect.. you dare to say you will be helping the humans!? Your life is now forfeit.. You will not continue to see the light of day after this! DIE!"

And with those words she had unleashed her gran rey cero..and like most of her cero..it was extremely overpowered..being bigger..stronger and possibly even faster..than any other gren rey fired in the history of the arrancar. And it was aimed solely at the man who dared defy his king.

Her arm became limp at this point because of the sheer power of her gran rey cero....but it didn't matter..she didn't require both hands to do anything..as a matter of fact..

"Segunda..etapa.." the reiatsu around her turned to fire and she was engulfed as she furthered herself into her most truest form..her head now covered with a helm that had two horns pointing forward..her entire body seeming as if a knight in full plate armor..and her tail looking armored now as well. Noticably.. Her spiritual pressure and her spiritual energy both dropped from the radar. no matter how well someone was at tracking reiatsu..they would not sense anything from her.

She formed a spear of energy with her still working arm..and whether or not jeff was alive or even concious..she would fire 5 bullets of highly powered energy from the tip of the spear..similiar to bala..but a bit stronger..all headed for his body. Helba did not tolerate those who would betray their own kind.. This man was finished..even if Rui himself decided not to take action..Helba would end him.

The fire belt around her waist had grown in heat..releasing a small wave of heat from her body..though it didn't bother her one bit. She did however..control the fire to create 3 fireballs that floated around above and behind her..still keeping the garganta completely immolated with her flames so no one could use it before it closed..

The other Arrancar seemed to be completely preoccupied. Although, not too preoccupied to mimic Arturo's idea. Arturo thought about this for a moment. He chuckled absently at the man's lack of pride. And his lack of creativity. Really, an unlimited amount of swords anywhere on his body and he never came up with a suit of armor? Really?

Regardless, he had noticed it now. This brought up a few problems. The only place left uncovered by the swords were the hands, the inner arm joint, the underarm, and the eyes. Anywhere else was covered by layers of short swords. This made it a little harder to hit him. Of course, energy attacks where viable... and they did only have one more exchange until Rui stopped them. Arturo decided to use as much of his energy as he possibly could.

Arturo shunpo'd forward, making a couple quick slashes with his sword at the aforementioned spots in shunpo. That required almost no energy. Then he grabbed the Arrancars wrist forcefully. He stepped closer to the other Arrancar, quickly retracting all his blades and then sending as many blades as he had the energy to create--a wall of four thousand blades--stabbing out of his body directly at his opponent.

Then, before he had time to feel any tiredness from that exertion, he quickly charged a Cero. This would probably use up nearly all his riatsu. After less than a second, he fired the Apocalypse Cero at point blank range, shunpo'ing away as soon as he did so. At the same time he called down ten more X shaped blasts of energy in a circle around the Arrancar, keeping him from just shunpo'ing away.

Arturo could feel the exhaustion setting on and did the only thing he could think of to keep his power up. "Segunda Epta." His voice and actions were calm and relaxed throughout the entire set of attacks. His eyes remained half lidded, as if the entire battle bored him, even as his spiritual pressure erupted into a visible aura around him, forming into the image of a massive phoenix.

The phoenix screeched and X shaped blasts began to rain down randomly across the battlefield. Arturo soared straight at the Arrancar, swooping down to attempt to incinerate the being entire. Arturo was even hit a few times with a blast of his own energy, but ignored it. After a couple flybys, Arturo landed again, sealing his Ressureccion Segunda back into his blade and sheathing the blade and sealing his Ressureccion also. He then walked slowly up to Rui. Though no one but Rui, who had known Arturo for thousands of years, would be able to tell, Arturo was nearly at the point of collapsing. Not from injuries, but from sheer exhaustion. He didn't know or care if the other Arrancar was alive or dead, he just did it to look impressive.

(OOC: Two things. 1: I said those spots were uncovered because otherwise you wouldn't be able to move without cutting yourself on your own blades. 2: This is a really long series of attacks. They happen really fast, but you can attack me at point throughout, its not like they're happening too fast to do anything through. I just won't respond to them. However many attacks he takes, he'll end up the same way. At this point, he's basically ignoring any injuries.)

Koga barely noticed as his opponent attacked him. Absent-mindedly Koga sonidoed upwards and released his swords. As they fell to the ground Arturo would be hit with a deluge of swords while he would be busy attacking air. At the altitude that Koga was at, the swords would be fatal if Arturo didn't dodge. Not to mention numerous. Drool slid down Koga's chin as his opponent seemed not to notice that Koga was high above him away from the battlefield.

As such, Arturo could only grasp at air as he unleashed the sword "armor" trick once again. Koga's drool slid from his chin and was falling...directly onto the path of Arturo. If he wasn't quick, the drool would splatter on top of his head, not to mention the numerous amount of swords currently headed his way.

Still, the arrancar didn't move as he charged up a Cero and fired it. Soon, he must realize he was only hitting air. Koga didn't mind. he was still eating gummy worms in his daydreams. The first X hit Koga in his back. Not wanting to get hit by any more Koga dodged to the side as the the X's continued to stream towards the ground. What did the ground ever do to Arturo?

Koga felt enormous amounts of spiritual pressure as his opponent further displayed his power. Koga had a bland smile on his face. Another drool began forming around his mouth. Arturo didn't even notice that Koga was still high above him as he kept attacking at a single point on the ground. it was probably due to all the dust that he'd stirred up because of the cero that he couldn't see straight. Nonetheless, none of the attacks had managed to reach Koga. Koga smiled lazily.

Jeff did something extremely stupid. "Gillian..." That was all he said as hundreds of Gillian showed up, each small group generaled by an adjuchas. A nagacion from them trapped Jeff just after Helba knocked his ass away from his garganta. He could not escape, no matter what. And no attacks, no matter what, could reach him. Nor could he attack them. "Thank you Helba, for stopping him. Please leave us for the moment. If he still decides to attempt to leave, I'll call you over to save me the trouble of killing him myself. And I'll even reward you for it, as long as it is reasonable. But first, will you two stop? I think you have proven each other quite powerful. It's time to stop..."

On cue, a red wall formed between the two fighters. "Stand down. Stranger, I will speak with you shortly. But first I need to deal with someone else. Please leave me with Jeff for a moment." Rui ordered.

He then went over to the trapped arrancar. "If I could slap you, I would. Since when before now have I ever degraded you? The other times there was no reason to do so and show your place as it was deserved considering who you were around. Choose more carefully on your opponents. If Bloodhound hadn't have saved you from your act of stupid, you would have died. Do you not know that Helba could easily kill you? Your arrogance in this company is not deserved. Know your place in conjunction with those that are around you. Trying to look badass among those that are more badass than you are right now just doesn't work. Looking more badass than those that are weaker than you are, that works quite well. I even admit that a few times, I was glad I recruited you. Now then, why do you feel so underappreciated? I've rewarded you and all of the others for jobs well done on missions that I've given. The one time that I don't respect you you decide to attempt to defect? Once is hardly enough to attempt that. I don't tolerate stupidity well. And you showed that. Even more so with that stunt that you attempted to pull just now. Besides, if war breaks out, who is gonna keep Kyo Blaze occupied? You may not have Kyo's ranged abilities, but the match is sure to be close anyway from what I've seen from your skills and abilities. Don't take this as me sucking up in an attempt to keep you, because you are free to attempt to flee anyway. Turning traiter will not be tolerated. I know where to find you. I have the ability to take you away from safety. I can easily kill you. Be cocky elsewhere, not with those that are so much stronger than you are. Decide now. But if you still wish to defect, Helba will maim and kill you. If you still somehow flee, I can drag you back and kill you myself. Death awaits traitors. Your decision?"

He didn't even mention Fritz. That odd arrancar, despite being an enemy, he actually liked. He wished to talk with him again at some point. He knew exactly where that so called traitor is. But like he would leak that. He just hoped Jeff would make the right decision. No one likes cocky people.

Jeff was knocked back by Helba then a huge Nagacion trapped him and held off all attacks of the damned witch Helba. This shocked him greatly due to the fact that he was about to leave and join Fritz and did not have a care in the world. Then Rui spoke nonsense about leaving Jeff and him to talk like it was going to work. He then stopped the fight between the man and Arturo with a red wall of energy. Jeff then prepared for the tongue lashing and ass kicking that was bound to happen. "Oh lord if only that damned woman would learn to keep her nose in her own business" he said in a barely audible whisper which she could not hear and Rui wouldn't either.

He then listened to the king of Hueco Mundos Ruis speech he gave to Jeff and spoke after every comment he deemed necessary. "One degrading is enough and almost allowing me to die shows I have no worth to you. I know that woman could kill me its not the point if I would've let her get away with what she said about Bloodhound I would've lost my pride she crossed the line by messing with my friend and comrade Bloodhound its a cool thing called deserved loyalty. Look into these words friend, comrade, and deserved loyalty. Bloodhound saved me proving he cares and making me more loyal to him. My act of arrogance may not be deserved but you should not care considering all of this I have done out of loyalty to my king though imagine this I am stepped on".



Rui continued his tongue lashing "I know who I am around The king The oldest Arrancar alive, a witch and a man close to the power of Arturo. I know i'm weaker but as you know I earned my stripes it just appears no one notices. There is a difference between stupidity and being flat out pissed off Rui. I have reason behind every action I attempt and its no difference with the one I just attempted. Kyo can kiss my ass I can beat him in a heartbeat with my ability's. I know your not sucking up Rui and trying to keep me believe me its part of the reason I attempted to defect".

"I do not care about Helba she would not keep me there I would escape due to her weakness in Sonido I would escape. You may find me but it would be hard to pry me from the Committee if they liked me and I doubt you'd start a war over it.As for my decision i'm unsure I do not know Rui and threatening me will not help in any way shape or form. I have always carried my pride over my life and you know this Rui Herutsu.He got up slowly and when Rui wasn't looking gave Helba the finger and mouthed fuck you and grinned.

Helba calmed quickly when Rui himself summoned an army of lesser hollow that worked in unison to form a negacion over the traitorous worm. She even reverted to her normal state..though she still couldn't even feel her arm..she didn't show this fact. She simply nodded at Rui and walked off. he said to leave..and she wasn't about to disobey..regardless of him being her king or not..which he wasn't. he would kill her if she stubbornly refused..and she had better things to do than sit around in hell..

"Next time I see him.. I will kill him.." she muttered before opening a garganta and leaving to the world of the living for some fun.. since most humans were spiritually aware..Helba made it a game to play hide and seek with the smarter and stronger ones.. it relaxed her..and if the humans were good enough..they'd find her and give her a good warm up excersise..win win.

Due to her opening a garganta and leaving..she didn't even notice that the weak man Rui was lecturing had flipped her off..not that it would have mattered anyways..because the stupid fool was still far too weak to do anything to her except be a childish idiot..

As he walked back to Rui, Arturo noticed the other Arrancar smiling smugly. Arturo shot a sly grin back. If that foolish Arrancar thought he had missed on accident...well, then he was much more foolish than Arturo had originally expected. No, If Arturo had wanted to hit the Arrancar, he probably could have. However, Arturo didn't think this guy deserved a death at his hand. An impressive spectacle and display of power, yes. And Arturo had hoped that it might teach the child some humility to see how limited his own power was. But apparently not. Arturo had given up on that Arrancar. If it was too stupid to see how out of it's league it was, then it didn't deserve his attention any longer.
