Name: Joshua Lane
Apparent Age: 35
True Age: 35
Gender: Male
Personality: Joshua is incredibly intelligent. At age 8 he had taken apart his computer and rebuilt it into a supercomputer. He is very cold, and doesn’t really care about anything but his experiments. He considers them works of art, at least when he succeeds. He loathes failed experiments.

He could be considered optimistic, expecting only the most perfect success from every one of his pieces, but this doesn’t really translate into the real world. As expected, he is terribly rational, though is also very imaginative, finding ways to modify his Cross and creating quite a bit of his own gear. He is very clever, and it is nearly impossible to trick his strong mind. He also keeps his lab neat and organized, no matter what happens.

He is very confident, often overconfident, and will attack any non-human he sees, excepting Bounto, seeing as they themselves are admirable experiments in his mind. He will attack anything that enters the mortal world, regardless of its power or race. He shares the Quincy’s utter disregard for consequences of killing an “invader”. Much of his tech is designed for that.

Character Appearance

Height: 7 foot, 2 inches
Weight: 204 lbs.
Physical Traits:

Ignore the bow.
Clothing: Refer to the picture. Except his coat and pants are pure white with a blue cross on the back of the coat.
Accessories: None, aside from the multitude of devices he carries with him. I’ll include those in a separate section.

Fighting Style

General fighting style: Joshua, like any good Quincy, prefers long-range attacks. He also prefers his gadgets to his Quincy Bow. His devices give him a wide variety of attacks, but it takes a moment for him to switch. For instance, he may be attacking very quickly with weak attacks, and switch to slower, stronger ones. For most people, they could switch easily, but Joshua has to take out a new device.
Strengths: Joshua has weapons that are very powerful, ones that are very quick, ones that are practically invisible, and ones that have huge range. He himself is very strong and can take a lot of hits before he gives up. He also has very, very good aim.
Weaknesses: Joshua has devices that provide attacks amazing in every field, but he can’t be exceptional in every field all at once. Weapons that are amazing at one thing tend to be dismal in another. Also, in terms of Quincy power, he is fairly weak, only being able to fire about five arrows in a second, as opposed to the more normal few dozen. He is capable of Hirenkyaku, but not good at it at all.

Weapons & Abilities

Quincy Cross:

Ignore the gun barrel at the end.
Quincy Bow:

Except made of blue riatsu.
Quincy Powers: Weak Hirenkyaku. One unique arrow ability:
Name: Item Bind
Effect: any item that would normally be thrown (i.e. gas vial or the anti-arrancar acid) he can place inside his arrow, sticking it there to fire with his arrow.
Quincy Items: Steele Schneiders: Three that he can throw proficiently.

Other Gear

(Note that Joshua has the max number per person of each item)

Item: Biosuit
Range: It's a suit...
Number: One

Description: It's a fully customizable suit, complete with helmet that can be turned on or off. Full body suit too. Can be installed with holographic emitters to display clothes, but not weapons of any sort. It is fool proof and cannot be hacked. Other customization is the general look of it. His just looks like his normal clothes.

Effects: Can't see spirits? Don't have the power to defend yourself or loved ones? This is what you get! The biosuit increases your physical abilities enough so that you can handle the basic hollow, if you're a normal human. For those of you that can already see spirits and have powers of your own, this suit also increases your own supernatural powers, including your own supernatural physical abilities. It also acts as a type of armor, lessening the power of blows. This suit is very durable, but still breakable. A one tier increase in all fields, and lessens attacks by 25%. For humans tiered at 1-1, they recieve no increase, just the lessens attacks by 25%. Joshua’s also has a Visor built in.

Name: Gas Vile
Range: Area of Effect of thirty yards plus however far you can throw it to break the vile.
Description: A breakable vile of green gas from Alexander Kerensky's doll.
Effect: For three posts, the person will suffer from phantom pains and a really itchy rash in random spots. It will also cause dieherria. One post cooldown before you may use it again. Limit two per person.

Name: Anti-Arrancar Acid
Range: How far can you throw it?
Description: A breakable vile of yellow acid. Still in test phase, so supplies limited, permanently.
Effect: If used against any other race, very mild burns will occur on contact, even normal hollows. If the arrancar's hierro is pretty strong or moderately strong, it will weaken it dramatically, allowing most zanpakutou or spiritual weapon to penetrate. If the hierro is weak, it will do damage. If it is Rui Herutsu hierro weak, it will dissolve where ever it touches, like, dissolve an entire leg. See Gathering Information thread for that instance. Limit one per person

Name: Shield Generator
Range: Only the person.
Description: Looks like a simple 21st century watch.
Effect: Forms a one post duration green shield that protects from everything. While difficult to break, anything equal or above Hado 73: Soran Sokatsui from a kido practitioner will shatter it, but will lessen the blow by quite a bit, up to 75%. However, there is a two post recharge time before it can be used again, and can only be used four times per thread. After which, put it on its charger to be used in the next thread. Limit one per person.

Name: Pistol(s)
Description:

Effect: The gun(s) are made with special material that can block zanpakutou and harm spiritual beings, as well as the bullets for them. Created after analyzing Tousei Kato's guns, but are weaker in power. Each clip holds up to 12 rounds and the bullets are explosive, but not much (a mere six inch area of effect) and are as strong as a standard bala. They are accurate up to 100 yards. Max of two per person, up three clips per gun (not counting the one in the gun, so you would have a total of four clips for each gun.) Both guns are also semi-automatic. That cannot be changed.

Name: Shotgun
Description:

Effect: Like the pistol, made with special material that can block zanpakutou and harm spiritual beings, as can the bullets. Maximum effective range is ten yards, with the closer you are to it, the more damage you'll take. Think of it as a bunch of standard balas launched at once. It is not automatic. That cannot be changed. Each clip holds ten rounds, three clips with it, not counting the one in the gun, so max of four clips. Limit one per person.

Name: Knives
Description:

Effect: These knives can be used in both close range combat or thrown. They can harm spiritual beings and are as strong as zanpakutou. There are two versions, the normal kind and the vibroknives. The vibroknives look exactly the same and have the same properties, except with an added feature. They vibrate at an extremely high frequency, like the Quincy Schneider, making it easy to penetrate heirro and barriers. They can only do that if the person is around their own level (one tier higher than you). That effect is not instant against barriers, and the knives will slow down. Max 5 of each version per character.

Name: Sword
Description: Normal-

Effect: Exactly the same as the knives. Do I really need to copy and paste from above? Limit one per person.

Name: Elemental Shuriken
Description:
Effect: These special shuriken harness the power of lightning, fire, and wind. When thrown, each version is consumed by their respective element with various effects. The fire version explodes in a fireball with a ten foot blast radius, with the closer to the center, the more damage the person will take. The wind version has the greatest potential to kill, as its "blades" extend, thanks to the wind, to fifteen feet long, holding to the same curve as each blade. The lightning version has the most penetrating power among the three, being able to penetrate barriers and heirro depending upon the level of the opponent (up to one tier higher than the owner). Limit four of each per character, may require second Container for all of them. Each is labeled at the center of the shuriken with their obvious elemental affiliations.

Language Chip - Implant any known language. The character can now understand that language fully but cannot speak it.

Speech Chip - This grants the character the ability to speak all languages. The subject can speak only one language at a time, although it may be able to understand several languages. It does not enable the subject to speak with those who don’t speak.

Things he created:

Name: Riatsu Grenade
Range: How far can you throw it?
Description: Small containers filled with high-pressure riastsu. The containers look like:
Effect: Press the button on the top and throw it. The container shatters on impact (only if the button was pressed) and releases a 10-foot-in-diameter blast of energy.

More probably to come, but I’ll put them in the equipment board.

Back Drop

Backround: Joshua’s parents were proud Quincy. They lived in an apartment in New York, but somehow found a place to train their son in the Quincy arts. However, they quickly found that their son was a miserable Quincy, barely able to summon his bow even after a few years of practice. Eventually he got better, but nowhere close to the power his parents had, or even what they hoped him to have.

He himself had no interest in the Quincy powers. He was a intellectual genius, and took much more interest in his schoolwork. He tinkered with computers and watches, modifying nearly every electronic device in their possession. His parents scolded him for putting more effort into mundane pursuits. As time went on, the animosity between Joshua and his parents became stronger and stronger.

When he was 15, his parents decided that giving him real responsibility would force him away from his foolish tinkering and make him become better at his powers. They refused to accept that he just wasn’t strong enough. However, when they assigned an entire five blocks of New York to his protection, he rose to the challenge. Instead of using Quincy powers to eliminate hollows and other invaders, he used weapons he had designed. He didn’t bother to tell his parents this, and they began to believe it had worked. They assigned him bigger and bigger areas, slowly believing that he was as powerful, and eventually much more powerful then even they were.

Joshua had to hide his weapons away from their apartment to keep his parents from noticing. When he was 18, an Arrancar heard of this relatively small area of New York under nearly perfect protection from attack. He observed for a while, but assumed that the being that protected the area where the two powerful Quincy. He didn’t spare a thought for their weak son. The Arrancar attacked Joshua’s parents, overwhelming them. They however, believed in Joshua’s fictional abilities and counted on him to save them. He, however, didn’t have immediate access to his gear. Helpless, he had to watch as the Arrancar killed his parents before his eyes, and they slowly came to the realization that he didn’t have the power to save them.

Ultimately the Arrancar left Joshua alive, cruelly knowing that death would now be a reprieve for Joshua. Joshua was depressed for a while, then finally began inventing again. He invested all his energy and time in inventing, hiding himself from anyone else. When he did occasionally leave his lab, he would be leaving to go on a rampage against anything non-human. Eventually he began to cool down. At age 29 he joined the Committee.

Steele Schneiders you will have to buy yourself from soul store and things created will have to be applied for in equipment section.

As for all the items on your list you can not have till in committee and the one that approves you also approves you having whats on your list.

Just remove them for now add them later then I approve just wait for a second.

The Seele Shnieders you have to buy, as Kairu said. They're not exactly cheap if I remember right.

The equipment from the Committee will be approved as soon as I approve you for the Committee, just be sure to list them in your signature. But the stuff you make does need to be in the equipment board.

But yeah, approved.

But I highly recommend you grab a couple of Containers as well, that's a lot of stuff to carry around freely.
