Personality: Ikezu is a quiet man who keeps to himself. He speaks only when spoken too, and is very light hearted. He has a relatively good sense of humor, but is extremely impudent; rarely thinking before he speaks. When he does choose to speak his voice is calm and natural, he rarely if ever stumbles over his own words. He is honest and honorable, keeping to a personal code of ethics. Though he is an honorable man, he is also a fierce warrior. He will not show mercy or clemency on his enemies.

Character Appearance
Height: 5’10”

Physical Traits: 
Ikezu is a very toned man with black hair, brown eyes, bushy eye brows, and a calm face. His hair is usually kept in the hair style above, however when it grows longer he tends to keep it in a ponytail. He has a single scar on his back running diagonally across from his right to his left, and no other scars or tattoos.
Clothing: He tends to where a standard Shinigami uniform. However when not in uniform he wears loose clothing including loose Japanese style jogging pants, and a wide sleeved T-shirt. He prefers black, red, blue, and indigo colors.
Accessories: He wears a Buddhist bead bracelet on his right left hand, this bracelet has 12 beads which represent 12 aspects of honor. Other than that he wears nothing else.
Fighting Style
General Fighting Style: Ikezu is very tactical, and centers around speed and agility to outmaneuver and than out think his foes.
Strengths: - High Spirit Capacity [Ikezu has an incredible amount of spirit energy.]

- High Skill in Melee Combat [He knows how to fight. Like a boss.]
Weaknesses: - Low Spirit Control [He doesn’t quite know how to control his spirit energy yet.]
- Low Skill in Kido [His low control of spirit energy lowers the effectiveness of his Kido spells.]
- Impudent [He doesn’t think before he talks.]
- Unwilling to kill [Except for hollows, Ikezu will do everything he can to avoid dealing a fatal blow.]
Zanpakuto & Kidou
Sealed Appearance: Shindaiichi looks like a daikatana (long sword), with golden string on its hilt with a black metallic base. The sheath is also black with gold string spiraling down its length. The Tsuba is golden and takes a sort of flower pattern with four oblong leaves.
Spirit’s Name: Shindaiichi
Spirit’s Appearance: 
Shindaichi looks like an old man with a huge beard and very buff. He wears a pure white kimono with a blue crest that looks like three tear drops chasing each other’s tails on the center of his back.
Spirit’s Personality: Shindaiichi is fearless, and the epitome of self-control. He loves riddles, and mind games. He’s also an exceedingly brilliant strategist. His mind set is always calm, and he has the presence of a wise and powerful teacher.
Inner World: Shindaiichi’s residence looks like a Buddhist temple, with a traditional red gate in the front. The sky is a deep purple, and the grass is a dark red. There is only one building, which is 12 stories tall, each level of the building represents an aspect of the warrior spirit (corresponding with the beads on Ikezu’s bracelet.)

Shikai
Call Out Command: Shindaiichi; Release!
Appearance: Shindaiichi turns into a daikatana with a serrated edge, a silver sheath. The golden strings turn into golden snakes which wrap around the user’s arm and hand latching together by biting each other’s neck.
Abilities: Lightning Edge: Storm Strike: The blade glows pure white with electricity and as Ikezu slashes a snake-like lightning bolt erupts from the blade following the path of the strike.
Lightning Edge: Storm Dragon: The blade glows pure white with electricity and disperses into a single lightning bolt which flows around Ikezu like a serpent, he may than direct the lightning bolt into an attack, either physical like a punch or spiritual like a blast/bolt. After attacking the lightning disperses and reforms into the normal blade.
Lightning Path: This is a form of shinpo, where the user and his sword transform into a lightning bolt and travel in a predetermined path with the speed and power of a standard lightning bolt. This may only be used one time every other post.
Boosts: The user receives a great boost to his speed (x3), and a slight increase to strength (x2).
Bankai
New Name: Shindaiichi Tazuka
Appearance: Ikezu becomes enrobed in Shindaiichi’s pure white kimono. The sword gains the appearance of a jagged lightning bolt which is flexible enough to act more like a whip than a blade. Along with the new appearance the blade also grows in length, becoming 6 feet long.
Abilities:
The blade may straighten on will, or become whip-like on will. It may also extend to twice its original length.
Black Storm Edge: This is the same as ‘Lightning Edge: Storm Strike’ except the lightning bolt is black and much more powerful. It’s also now able to be guided by Ikezu through his sword.
Black Storm Dragon: This is the same as ‘Lightning Edge: Storm Dragon’ except the lightning is black and forms an aura which completely surrounds Ikezu. It may be concentrated into an attack, and is much more powerful than before.
Black Storm Walking: This is just like ‘Lightning Path’ except Ikezu seems to turn into a shadow, and moves freely as one. In this form he may travel through objects and can move at the speed of a normal lightning bolt. This technique allows the Ikezu to also negate the effects of gravity on his body allowing himself to fly. He can maintain this form for 3 posts, with a 2 post cool down. As soon as he moves at the speed of a normal lightning bolt (the speed of light), he cancels this technique and must wait the normal 2 post cool down before activating this ability again. Alternatively he may choose to forgo the activation of the form in order to simply use the lightning speed in which case he the effect is instantaneous, and he must wait another post for cool down.
Split Self: Ikezu moves so quickly in two different directions that he splits in two creating a copy of himself. He may do this three times in a row and must choose which copy is the real one and which one is the alternate. Creating at most 4 copies including himself. Only the original may split, and once the original receives significant force all copies collapse onto him (as if they all got destroyed). Each copy has physical substance, and is linked to the original in mind. This means once the copies dissipate they’re knowledge and memories are sent to the original. There is one drawback however, with each split Ikezu divides his powers among himself and the copies. This means that with 2 copies (1 real and 1 alternate) each is at 50% power. With the maximum of 4 there power drops down to 25% each. Once an alternate is destroyed they turn into spiritual energy and return to the user and the other alternates.
Boosts: Speed x10, Strength x5. Back Drop
Background: Before Ikezu was a soul reaper he was just a regular guy. He grew up in a regular home, went to a regular school, did regular homework, had regular friends, and ate regular dinners at a regular table sitting on regular chairs. Point is he was just an average joe. He graduated high school with a 3.0 gpa, and stayed with his high school girlfriend after graduating.
Their relationship was shortly strained by her cheating on him, and after an attempt to reaffirm things with his girlfriend with a movie and dinner date failed, the two parted ways at the restaurant. However fate had other plans for them, as his girlfriend crossed a road, Ikezu noticed a truck speeding towards his girlfriend. In the last moments of his life, he rushed his now ex pushing her out of the way of the vehicle taking its killing blow in her stay. The next time he opened his eyes he was looking down at himself, and the paramedics were making a desperate attempt to save him. With one final zap from a defibrillator, his chain snapped off. Now a wondering soul, he followed his ex around until one day when all seemed lost, and he was only a step away from becoming a hollow a soul reaper found him and sent him to the soul society. But not before telling him that he was a soul reaper, and what their job was.
This act of compassion by the soul reaper engraved a strong desire inside of him. A desire paired with his yet unknown immense spiritual energy, which was soon realized when only 50 years after dying he became a soul reaper, passing the entrance exam on his second try.
Side Notes: His bracelet is the last gift from his ex-girlfriend whom he always loved. And I'm Nemrog's brother, so that's why our IP addresses are the same. ^_^
RP Sample: A young man walked down the sidewalk, hand in hand with a beautiful young lady. He wore a white dress shirt, a dark blue tie, and a pair of dress pants with the shirt tucked in. All in all he was very handsome tonight, his black hair slicked back spiking naturally at the ends. The girl who one could assume was his girlfriend, wore a red satin knee length dress, and black high heel shoes. She didn’t look at all happy, or comfortable despite her man doing everything he could to make her happy tonight. What’s this guy’s name you may be asking yourself, well his name is Ikezu.
Ikezu walked along the same path for about 10 more minutes until he suddenly stopped and looked at the woman.
“You don’t love me any more do you?”The woman looked around and crossed her legs, scratching the tip of her nose and answered
“It’s… Not that I don’t love you. I just…”“Would it make you happier if we just broke up?”She turned her head, looking down at her feet. It was as if he was reading her mind.
“Ok. Well, I guess this is where I say goodbye.” Ikezu said with a frown, eyes starting to well up.
“Yeah, I guess so.” She turned before returning to Ikezu for one last time, “Hey Ikezu, I was going to give you this. It’s a bracelet of Buddhist prayer beads. They represent all the aspects that make a good person. I don’t think I have any other them, but you do. Don’t change ok? You’re a good man, and you don’t deserve me.” She kissed him on the cheek and left.
The two parted ways, and Rea (Ikezu’s now ex) crossed the road without looking back. However, fate had different plans for the two. An ambulance holding within it the mangled body of a serial killer was rushing down the road just as Rea was crossing its path. The ambulance didn’t have time to stop, and in the last moments of Ikezu’s life he rushed his ex and pushed her out of the way, taking the killing blow in her place. His body was broken, and all went black.
His eyes opened, and in front of him was his body, a chain connected. A presence appeared behind him, he wore a black traditional Japanese uniform.

This was the first time Ikezu had met a soul reaper, and it probably wouldn’t be the last.
