Tatsuo has viewed his captain's bankai in the same day he had met him. "Ignacia...when am I going to release the true form eh?" he said jokingly. No response....of course. Anyways captain Tanaka had returned and had released his bankai. "What an interesting appearance." Tatsuo made mental notes as he heeded his captain's words to back away.

Tatsuo ran to the wall where the Holographic cpu was, he then gestured his hand to make it follow him to create some distance between the overpowering Akira. Once again he slid his chip through, inputting a code to lock all of the doors with strong titanium. Faint red lights were flashing through the hallways. The whole place was deathly quiet...besides this laboratory. "I KNEW I HAD A BAD FEELING!" he thought, but he was focused on what must be done to aid his captain and help out rena. "...what's going on in there?" he pondered looking at the machine

Rena felt a massive surge of energy outside of the machine but was still held tight by the binding bakudo..all of a sudden however..the knot in her stomach worsened and her entire body felt like it was flooding. She began to squirm and scream in pain as something surged through her very being.

As this happened her own power began to rapidly climb to extreme heights and began to slowly tear away at the bindings that wrapped her..slowly..but not quite yet..Even with her power climbing and with all her struggling and screaming..she had only managed to shatter 5 of 6 of the bakudo pillars from bakudo no 61..and hadn't done more than put strain on the bakudo no 63 and 99 Kin.

"What is...happening..to me!" She screamed alloud as much as she could while her power continued to rocket upwards. She wasn't being possessed by Aner..this felt so incredibly different from that..it felt like she was in pain everywhere..yet nowhere hurt.. she was struggling..but had no reason too. it was like she was herself yet was not. She had officially become scared as her power seemed only to climb higher and higher towards it's peak as time progressed. The pain wasn't physical..it was spiritual..and she felt it as if she was being torn limb from limb physically.

was this the end? Was the experiment working? Was she going to die instead? She didn't know.. she just wanted it to end! one way or the other!

An insane amount of reiatsu was releasing from Rena. Then....he could feel that cold heartless spiritual pressure but in a split second it dispersed. It happened again but Tatsuo couldn't possibly analyze the situation, Because his captain was now yelling in pain. Things were falling apart and Tatsuo felt helpless here. Wanting to help his captain Tatsuo quickly ran to his captain's side but not too close to be affected by his release of power through the rods. As he ran to his side the whole front side of the machine exploded, Not only sending Akira flying, but Tatsuo as well. he was slung back a few feet and tumbled on the cold paneled floor for a few meters. pieces of glass had struck Tats' face and the rest of his body. But most of the injuries covered the top of his hands and his face.

Some of the glass could be seem protruding in his face still as he was slow to get up and he rubbed his head. Then he remembered..."Captain Tanaka!" The new train of thought made him rush to his side, who was located adjacent in the room. as he was running towards Akira he then remembered something else... "RENA"

He suddenly paused, and stared into the cloud of steam and debris where Rena was at. Tats knew his captain was ok when he called out for rena and ran towards the machine. Tatsuo was quick to follow, blood dripping from his face due to the cuts on his face. But who had time to worry about that when someone's life could be dangling on a line.

At first the debris and rubble from the explosion pulsated..then it burst as a massive pulse of dark energy poured forth frmo the wreckage. When it ended there were two girls standing where the rubble used to be. both clashing swords though the blades looked very different from eachother and in fact..so did the girls.

One was definitely Rena..though she was now clad in armor and using a sword that was much bigger than her usual shikai blade. She looked like she had taken the brunt of the explosion and was covered in what was guessed to be her own blood. yet she viciously pushed blades against the other girl with obvious intent to annihilate her.

The other was almost completely white with normal skin using a blade that looked like it came from hell. This..was Aner. and boy was she pissed off. However..even Aner knew when she needed to retreat. She was on par with Rena..still slightly stronger.. but there was another captain present and his Vice-captain. She couldn't fight all three at once in her currently weakened state..maybe if she had full power...but alas she needed to recover.

With a sudden push Aner forced Rena to go flying against the nearest wall where Rena went stay'd unable to really move and but she did not revert from her new state of being. Aner the quickly opened a garganta with what little power she had remaining and sonido'd through it only for it to close the second she was through.

"bitch got away from me.." Rena managed to spit out the words along with some of her own blood as she then proceeded to have a coughing fit. To counter this..she summoned her mask and began to focus on healing herself with her shinigami training healing techniques while letting the hollow mask regeneration take effect..this was just temporary however..she'd need much rest to regain her strength..this was only superficial..without fourth division and rest she wouldn't recover.

"Captain Akira..are you..alright..? you too..Tatsuo..?" She said in her hollowfied voice as she looked over to them. She figured they were..they looked minorly damaged..but she wanted to hear them say it. Her spiritual presence was weak because of how weak she currently was. She needed medical attention and fast.

Tatsuo knew this feeling, that horrid spiritual pressure. Goosebumbs appeared on his body as the smoke cleared he saw that female hollow "Aner." Tatsuo's thoughts were becoming sporadic as the hollow retreated into a garganta. To be honest Aner actually had a chance against the three at this moment, his captain had inputted so much on his own reiatsu into the machine to make him fatigued, not to mention he had no freaking clue what exactly happened to rena, in her suit of armor and her weak state. Aner could easily take Tatsuo, her spiritual pressure was so much greater than his own right now. Rena asked the two shinigami if they were okay, Tatsuo nodded his head yes, wiping some of the blood off of his chin as Rena started healing herself.

Then..."Ena, Taso!". Tatsuo faced his captain as he collapsed from his fatigued state and shock from the explosion. Tatsuo limped as fast as he could to his captain flipping him over so his back was facing the floor "Captain Tanaka!" he yelled as he looked at his captain's hands. The actual flesh on his palms was torn off as it had melted on the rods. the rest of his hand had 3rd degree burns on them. Tatsuo knew this because well...he was a fire user.

"Don't worry captain, I'll heal you right up sir." he said as he hovered both of his hands over Akira's right hand, a light green light illuminated the room as Tatsuo began to try and heal the hand, It was going to take some time but it wasn't impossible. He knew Akira couldn't hear him right now, but he was talking to his captain anyways as if he could. Tatsuo faced Rena, looking concerned and asked Rena...are you really okay? I need to get the medical team here asap. My healing is horrible..."

Rena coughed up a tiny bit of blood and shook her head in response to Tatsuo.

"I'll manage..but i do need medical attention..i can't..feel any part of me at the moment..i used what I had left to summon and maintain my mask to heal..

It was true. Since the moment she donned her mask after Aner through her back against the wall..Rena's body had made minimum movements..in fact she was surprised she had even managed to shake her head a moment ago.

"Call..fourth..division.." She managed to say before she actually did succumb to pain and fatigue and passed out..her hollow mask crumbling away as she faded from conciousness..her armor doing the same to leave her in her normal Shinigami robes.

She had been pushed to the brink of oblivion and made to stare it in the face..it was no wonder she was so weakened..her soul had beened screwed with. Though..as she dreamt in her unconcious state..she thought she saw things..though someone else's eye's..unknowing..that it was Aner''s eyes..in Hueco Mundo..
