Tatsuo, fairly new to this whole lieutenant thing was very excited to have been accepted to be responsible for such a position. He was already assigned a task, to prepare materials for a machine for his Captain, Akira Tanaka. Tatsuo was hazy about the details but he had the blueprints given to him by the captain to piece it together but he knew it had something to do with hollows. Tatsuo had never personally fought one so this could possibly be interesting. Tatsuo hasn't met his captain yet, and he found papers on his new office desk in his room, where he will be keeping personal notes and journals on interesting facts to help benefit the Bureau. He knew nothing about the captain, but he was eager to help in any way possible. He had many questions for his superior, but Tatsuo wasn't sure if he could ask them if he was too nervous to do so.

His first task was to gather materials, organize them, and have them accessible for the captain. This required alot of running around the R & D department, different parts that had certain functions were stored in different rooms. This place is enormous, I have a hard enough time making it to 1 place around here, let alone 10!" he thought jokingly, cheering himself up a little bit. Looking over the blueprints was difficult, alot of parts made this machine and some took hours to find since Tatsuo is unfamiliar with such advanced technology. Plus he could only grab so many at a time before bringing it back to the lab, where it was placed on a red tarp like blanket. Once Tatsuo had finished the scavenger hunt his next task was to organize the parts for Akira, starting from which parts to use first to last.

His next objective now was to retrieve oils, greases, they were to be used as lubricants to make some moving parts functional. Tatsuo wiped the sweat from his brow and left a smudge of black grease in its stead. He then looked over the blueprints, to doublecheck he had every part. Tatsuo then spoke out loud to himself "Just to be on the safe side... He then triple checked the paper, and browsing over the objects pointing with his finger and mumbling each part before moving on to the next. Tatsuo was quite fond of what he had accomplished. Even if it was 4 in the morning. He imagined his Captain complimenting on his work, then high fiving while making a ** face. This thought made Tatsuo chuckle as he began to sit on the floor in front of the parts, giving his legs a rest from the errands. His back was to the door at this point, he was hunched over the items observing them like a kid playing with legos. He just couldn't help himself though, things like this brought out the curiosity in him

"Good morning Tatsuo, Is everything in order?" Tatsuo snapped out of his gadget tinkering fantasies and a serious looked flashed upon his face. In an instant he stood on his feet and coughed a little bit, caught off guard by his captain's presence. He bowed honorably before his new captain, glancing at his face whilst still bowing. Ahem good morning Cpatain Tanaka. Yes sir I have everything you asked." At least he hoped he did. "Not to be cliche or anything but it's an honor to meet you Captain.

Tatsuo rose from his bowing position and finally got to really look at his new captain. The thing that stuck out the most were the headphone. Tatsuo winced his eyes a bit while viewing the item then looked at his captain. He held out his hand to shake as a friendly gesture to Akira. "I am glad to be your assistant and Lieutenant sir, but can I ask....what exactly is this machine's purpose."

Tatsuo turned towards the parts and scratched his head. No compliments from the Captain, but I guess that is to be expected seeing as it is just minor errands for a bigger project that was about to take place. He then picked up the paper with the blueprints and scanned over everything ONE last time....just to make sure everything was in order. Akira seemed like a very calm and collective individual so far, and Tatsuo had no intentions of seeing the angry side of his new captain.

Tatsuo looked down when Akira extended his hand and place a small chip in his palm. Tatsuo quickly cupped it as to make sure not to drop it and break it. He cocked his head sideways, wondering what exactly this thing was for. He then heard Captain Tanaka speak to a...computer? He commanded it to Record data from Tatsuo, implying that he will have access to some of the computer's perks in the future. Obviously if you could picture the inside of Tatsuo's head. It would be him bouncing off the walls. He loved research, he loved being able to analyze his opponents and break down their weaknesses.

Once Akira told him that they were going to attempt to separate a Hollow from a Vizard his jaw dropped. "Surely this man is a Genius. Who could build such a device to extract a hollow from a shinigami." He thought about this concept for a while thne spoke to the Captain "Surely the Shinigami involved in this procedure will not be harmed...right?" Before Kaira could answer him the computer began to...talk! Once again Tatsuo's head cocked sideways staring around the room to find out exactly where the voice was coming from.Lieutenant of division twelve, Tatsuo Ambiance he said, talking a little louder than usual so the computer would not mistake what was said.

He then walked into the scanner as the computer had asked him. He was a little iffy about the matter so he looked at his captain to see his expression. Seeing as it was not one of worry he turned towards the laser scanner and stood there.

After being scanned by the computer he stepped off of the dock and beside his captain. His words about the safety of the individual concerned him when he reached maybe, but faded once he settled that the Vizard will be unharmed. While Akira began typing on a holographic keyboard, the items then rose to about waist height, no doubt for convenience. "Whenever your ready" the captain stated. Tatsuo was definitely ready. Sure he had spent hours collecting the parts required, but it was about to be all worth it. Putting a plan into action was just as good to Tatsuo as creating the plan itself.

Tatsuo walked to the right of the captain picking up the first item which seemed to be the foundation or base for the machine....and it was heavy. Tatsuo struggled to maneuver his way around the captain and behind him in the testing area. He then set it down gently, then proceeded to lock it in place by screwing it to the floor. Once that was taken care of he got up and walked to the right side of his captain once more. Looking to the left, at his captain he asked "I assume I will be writing notes once the testing begins, keeping tabs on the whole process?" He laughed a little bit because he did not mind doing that at all. Research was his playground and notes were his brand new shoes he needed to break in on the playground.

"What CAN'T this computer do" he thought and let out a sigh. I guess note taking will be done in my spare time away from the department. Oh well." He took the chip out of his pants pocket and viewed it for a while before returning it. Don't worry captain I will be sure to take good care of this. Though I do have one more question to bother you with. Who exactly will we be doing this experiment on? Tatsuo was distracted from his train of thought when the captain began to move towards the base of the machine and attached a component to it. Once doing so another part of the floor rose

Tatsuo wasn't too sure how to put this thing together so he turned around and looked at the holographic blueprints that was displayed in front of him. Running his chin he let out a slight "Hmm" while he used his other finger to point at specific spots on the blueprints. His finger moved from spot to spot as Tatsuo assembled the machine in his head. The cogwheels were turning now and he picked up a pipe which Captain Akira needed to fit on next and held it out to him with a smile. "I hope you're right about the Vizard not being harmed. For some reason this concerned Tatsuo tremendously. He wouldn't want anyone to get hurt because of an accident he caused. But he was confident in his captain's intelligence so it calmed him down a bit

"OH MY GOD....RENA OF THE 1ST DIVISION'S HOLLOW" Tatsuo's complexion got incredibly pale. Aner, as her hollow was called, was nothing but a entity that seeked destruction and death. Not to mention it was as strong as a freight train and his spiritual energy capacity was pretty immense as well. "Yes, you can say I've ran into...her before. Both sides unfortunately." Tatsuo was getting nervous when he was informed about who was involved Are you sure this is a good idea, I mean suppressing the hollow sounds good in theory but what if something were to go wrong here. And extracting the hollow out entirely seems ill advised as well unless we are capable of handling it. Are we? Aner, as her hollow is called, is nothing to joke around with....trust me I know from experience." Tatsuo cringed, he could feel that bone chilling ice covering his body all over again.

The captain took another part and attached it. The blueprints were fresh in Tatsuo's mind. so he took the honors of grabbing a small cogwheel with wires attached. This was to make it so the glass door to house Rena could function, opening and closing.Next were the walls to the machine, the infrastructure. One side of the walls was coated with some kind of insulation, and that side was to face inwards towards the Vizard. "Most likely to contain the massive amount of spiritual pressure that would be released during the suppression. he thought as he handed the next part to his captain. The machine was definitely coming along. They should have it up and running in no time! Hopefully his captain will be pleased from the adaptation Tatsuo achieved while working with him.

(ooc I'm treating this thread as if I already fought Rena while her hollow form tormented the academy, I hope this isn't a problem)

"Wow you must be one hell of a fighter to fight that thing. Err hum excuse my language if you're offended." he bowed in an apologetic manner towards Akira. "You seem like a very level headed man so I can trust your opinion on this. Plus I can tell your spiritual pressure is different from the others somehow. I'm not exactly sure how but I just feel...like you know what you're talking about. Tatsuo looked around the room, at all of the high tech devices in here. "And I'm pretty sure you know what you're talking about if you can handle this equipment." He laughed a little bit as the room itself sort of overwhelmed Tatsuo. He was about to witness history here.

His captain proceeded to munch on some pocky, and offered Tat some. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't pass up free food. He was often called a food moocher by his friends when he lived at home. He could really eat alot though. so he understood why they called him that. As hungry as he was, he received the piece of pocky politely and calmly. He nibbled on it a little bit as he stood beside his captain seeing what was being typed. Like I said Tatsuo is very curious and his brain is like a sponge.

"Heh sorry captain" he said disappointingly and quickly looked away from the screen, humming to himself. He saw a quick flash on light flicker in the room when Akira had another screen come up. Then he swiped some sort of small object through the screen, then in the supressing device. A small hum was now emitting from the machine, lights blinking too. Tatsuo figured what had just happened was that his captain authorized himself to use the machine with that key he was talking about earlier, but he couldn't say for sure.

He then took his chip out of his pocket once more observing it remembering what his captain said it was used for. He looked up from the chip, snapping back into attention "Looks complete Captain Tanaka, anything else we must do before we begin?" he asked. To be honest he wasn't sure if it was complete or not, it had been a while since he looked over the blueprints. He was just assuming now.
