PostSubject: Damn It's Hot   Mon Mar 14, 2011 10:56 am

Raiden Arashi laid on top of a building, his hair being dyed silver this time. He wore light blue denim shorts with a belt, a yellow T-shirt, and a white, blue striped bucket hat. The five foot tall vizard also wore white tennis shoes and no socks. His sword laid beside him, while his zanpakutou spirit, a seven and half foot tall armored werewolf without wearing the bladed gauntlets, and his inner hollow were playing black jack three yards away from him.

He had told the new guy, one Kano, to get him some water. This guy just became a vizard a week ago, and guess who had to train his ass up...HIM. Rai still hadn't figured out how that happened. He was the worst to be training someone up...well, not counting Nika. They hadn't actually started yet, and with good reason. He had argued, whined, and bitched at Rikku-sensei to get someone else. Unfortunately, Captain Commander Selkie and the chick he now knew as Rena Lisola, triple teamed him. He was not a happy camper.

"KANO! Hurry your ass up!" Rai screamed at the top of his lungs. Most of Egypt was a desert and very remote. In case Rai accidentally killed Kano, the body would never be found. The kid just hoped that wouldn't happen and that this guy actually did have some skills to defend himself somewhat.

kano wandered back and headed in the direction of the scream "ugh, why do i have to listen to this bastard, from what i hear he aint even good at what he do" he made it back to rai with a paper dixie cup filled with water "here you go almight rai" he said in a mocking tone as he handed him the dixie cup "its all they give, water is scarse you know, since were in the desert!" he sat down in the sand and looked up at the blazing hot sky. "and you picked a....Wonderful scenery, Why".

"Don't call me almighty. I may be one of the stronger members of the Kishimasuki, but I'm not strong enough to be called almighty. Save that title for Rikku-sensei and, unfortunately, Veronika Gutou. Yuck! I can't believe I said her name..." Rai took the cup of water and gulped it down. He tossed the cup over his shoulder. "That's good enough for me. In case you haven't noticed, I'm not the biggest of people. And as far as why I picked this location..." Rai gave him an evil grin. "Well, if I accidentally kill you, your body will never be found. Of course, you should be more grateful. If it wasn't for Captain Commander Selkie, Lieutenant Rena Lisola, and me, you'd be dead because of Ayumu Kazuki. That bastard is no pushover."

The boy got up and placed his sword and bucket hat near his zanpakutou spirit and inner hollow. "Shiro, time to get to work. No cheating while he's gone, Shougeki." "It's about bloody time!" The pasty white version of himself disappeared while the armored werewolf just turned around and watched. Rai started to walk over to Kano. "Get up. Your not going to get any better at controlling your hollow powers by sitting down. I'm a hand to hand combat practitioner. So if you're an expert in that field, you might be able to beat me. But that is the safest way to train you. I use my sword, more than likely I'll get carried away and kill ya. This is the safest way I can think of to train you. So summon your mask and let's see what you got. Don't worry if your mask shatters suddenly after a very short time. Thats normal."

Rai summoned his own hollow mask. Then he waited for his trainee to get to it and attack him. There was no way Raiden was going to make the first move. This time, it was he training someone, not the other way around.

"alright" he siad with a sigh, he put up his fists and rushed foward and pulls his mask on, his time was very short so he had to act fast while he had the energy. he reached a high speed and fliped into like a hand stand and kicking out his feet kicking rai in a spin causing the wind to pick up around from the swirl, he the pushed up high using his hand.

he started somuersaulting and held his hands together in a fist and smashed down over head on rai. he used the force the he pushed into to fling behing him, he slides his hand on the smand and spins his legs on it in a half circle to slow him before he pushes off to head back, he the strats jabbing at high speed in the same spot.

Raiden ducked to avoid the handstand kick. Kano then somuersaulted and slammed down with his fist, aiming for the top of Rai's head. Like he would allow that to happen. The five foot tall vizard just jumped back to avoid it. Rai was fast, among the fastest in the Kishimasuki. The guy then started to jab at him. The kid weaved through them. He could tell that this guy was an expert in the hand to hand combat field, but that didn't always mean anything.

Without warning, Rai appeared in front of Kano's face, and sent his knee to it. If the mask didn't shatter soon, the attack would. When the Vizard of Destruction landed, he stuck his index and pinky fingers at Kano. A blue-grey ball of energy charged up. Rai then snapped back to reality and shifted his aim in time to make his cero pass by Kano. "Put you mask back on and let's go. Try doing a cero now." Rai charged up another cero, but held it. Let's first see if the guy could at least do a simple thing as a cero before continuing.

kano, still having shards of his mask on after the blow to the face, jumped far back and held his hand to his face using what little energy he had to bring his mask bak to form, recovering about only half. "you basicly wiped out my mask, and expect me to use a move i never used before" kano said with a shock as blood dripped down from his broken nose.

he aimed his hand up, holding all 4 fingers and his thumb together straight out. slowly a red spark crackled and the cero slowly began to form. kanos mask started cracking from lack of energy for this is his first time realy using it and it will disipate soon. "i...i think i got it" he said with astonishment and it formed to a true cero.

but at the time all that was left of his mask with alittle bit covering over his right eye, keeping his eyes in the inverted yellow and black, and white pupil.

"Don't give me that. Shut up and try it." Rai yelled at the new vizard. A few seconds later, the trainee gave it a shot. He only had it charged up, but it was a true cero. "Very good. Now fire it. Then we'll hit Rikku-sensei's contact in the area for a break. Frankly, you already look like you need one before I actually do kill you by continuing on." The five foot tall, silver haired vizard awaited the attack.

Rai swung his cero upward in a type of wall, though it only moved vertically, and blocked the cero with ease. "Well...I'm not even gonna comment on that one. Alright, let's go. I'm not carrying you back to town, either walk on your own two feet or I'm dragging you there." The Vizard of Destruction took off his mask and walked over to his zanpakutou spirit, which disappeared as he grabbed his sword. "Of course, if you think you can continue, by all means say something."

The boy looked over at the guy, showing a little bit of worry. Kano was weak and pathetic. But everyone had a beginning, including him. He waited for the guy's answer.

kano was estatic as he shot his cero. in all his years of being a vizard, he had never had any actual training. "alright, just a small breack thou" he said as seconds later the last bit of his mask dicipated into the wind and his eyes back to normal.

he ran up to catch up with the crazy psychopathic master. "so how long do you think it would take for me to be able to fire a few ceros in arow" he started asking, sounding quite naive. yet still in an energetic mood dispite his depleted energy. he walked along side rai.

kano began to drift off into his mind, thinking of what it looked like with his mask on, being the first time he has ever dawned it.

Raiden started to laugh. "Small break? You have no energy left! And it's about an hour walk to where Rikku-sensei's contact is." The little vizard started to walk with the new guy in tow. Kano had asked him about how long it would take before he could fire a few ceros in a row. "Who knows. Could be a few days, a few weeks, or even a few months. It depends on your own set skill base and how fast you learn. You're a hand to hand combat expert, I can see that. Speed wise, you're not bad, but I specialize in it. I'm a cero expert, being able to fire up to five in ten seconds if I really concentrated. You still have a long way to go before you reach that point though."

Rai continued to walk and looked over at Kano. There was something he really needed to say. He looked away from his reluctant student. "Hey, Kano. I think we got off on the wrong foot. You see, I'm not good with training those weaker than me. My philosophy is that if you're not strong enough to be a challenge to me, you shouldn't be training with me. I've actually have killed during training matches before, before I became a vizard. I'll admit it, I'm still a little sour at Rikku-sensei and the Captain-Commander for making me do this, but I've been taking it out on you. Actually, I think I've been taking a bit more than just that out on you. Ayumu's betrayel and the fact that the Demon of Desire, a fellow vizard in our group and my personal rival, has surpassed me and is now one of our strongest members. Taking it out on you is immature and unprofessional. Can you forgive me and just start over?"

The vizard was looking down, face and neck beet red from embaressment. He doesn't apologize much and isn't used to doing such a thing, let alone to someone who is weaker than he is.

kano still waking along side rai on there hour trip, repleted after he was finished with his apology "yea its fine" kano said abit uninterested. he didnt realy have any negative feelings of rai before. "im just still getting used to the vizard mask and hollow power concept, the only training i ever got was the hallow here and there in the neighborhood. so im pretty happy for ssomeone to train me" he grinned. "and its better off of us havin similar styles, just dont yell if i adapt some techniques into my own" kano said in a sarcastic manner, but not that off annoance, more just kidding around.

"man, took years of searching for another of my kind, and within the same day of finding one, i obtained a mask, and within the same week, i learn Cero. im a decent learner if i do say so myself" once again he grinned, he wasnt sounding snobby, more with a tone of self accomplishment if anything else.

it took kano awhile to realize that rai was much shorter than him " how old are you anyway?" kano hasnt realy payed attention during his meeting with rena when rai jumped in, so he didnt notice how young some other vizards looked.

Rai felt a little bit better after hearing Kano's response. He even chuckled a little bit about being happy that someone is training him, and about adapting some of Rai's fighting style into his own. Then he heard the question. "I am 85 years old. And for the record, I was the best swordsman and the fastest person in my graduating class at the shinigami academy. Also for the record, I've been a vizard for 35 years and have had bankai for the same amount of time. Oh, just to make you jealous, I learned cero a whole two days after becoming a vizard. Of course, unlike others, I also didn't fight my inner hollow for control."

The boy beamed with pride. It was true. He compromised with his inner hollow instead of fighting with him. Raiden thought that was why his powers were pretty evened out, in balance. He was no elder vizard by a long shot, but he was well on his way if Rikku-sensei was to be believed. And hopefully unlike a certain seductive, battle crazy bitch by the name of Veronika Gutou.

"Heh, good luck gettin a guy like me jealouse" Kano said abit snidly. He was a generaly selfish person, but not the jealouse type. "I can feel my energy comeing back" kano grins with a refreshed look. "been awhile since I ran out...i think it was with my encounter."

"So whats it like? bein a dog of the Seireitei?"Kano asked sarcasticly, but with a hint of curiosity. Kano was still new to this, and havent even been assigned a squad yet. Infact, untill recently he didnt even know of the soul society except in stories told by his father, since he has lived a constant earthbound life.

"Hey, watch your tongue. You start calling someone stronger than you a pet, you gonna pay for it. This is your first and last warning: Don't call me a dog or any other kind of pet. I may just forget that this is training. Only Ayumu has called me that, and he's strong enough where my threats are idle. That is not the case here. As far as serving Soul Society, I was honored to do so. But wearing the same thing day in and day out, and doing the same thing day in and day out...I hate sameness, monotonous, uninteresting, and boring things. Hence why I left. My loyalties are first to Soul Society then to the Kishimasuki, in which you are also a part of too. Unless you really want to be a part of the Gotei 13, I'm sure Lieutenant Lisola can arrange that. Admittedly, we do have more freedom than they do. And that is what I like."

As Rai said the first four sentences, his spiritual pressure skyrocketed to about half his strength. While Rai didn't want to admit it, he himself is a captain class fighter. He settled down soon after though. "Besides, there are more variety of environments here. Multiple places that are good for training. Like this desert. I fought in this heat once, just before I was recruited into the Kishimasuki. What about you? What have been your experiences?" His student was asking a few things about him, it was only fair that Rai should learn about his own student.

Kano was abit shocked by the reaction, to him all member of the Seireitei were dogs, such as the earthbound military, this included the leaders. "Eh, if the Kishimasuki has more freedom, ill stick with you guys" He snickers. Kano abruptly stops and plops down into the sand and feels much more relaxed.

"Well I dont have much experience. I mean I didn't even find out about myself being a shinigami till I noticed that my aging stopped, and a Vizard untill my dad told me so... he used to be a shinigami, but was exiled for some unknown reason....welll unkown to be since he never stated. He trained me here and there and when he died gave me this ring." Kano explains and shows the wolf ring on his middle finger on his right hand."My Zanpaktou willingly whent to it, and the only realy training i got since my dad died was as I said, the hallow encounters. I have been completly self trained." Kano says with a convincing smile.

"Well enough boring you, since I got some energy. Why dont we just spar fist to fist till I run out again?" Kano asks anxiously as if to change the subject."Or die?" he adds with sarcasm.

Rai nodded. He tossed his sword in the direction of Rikku's contact. "All right. Good luck trying to hit me. As you've noticed, I'm very fast." The kid went into the air, a good seventy feet up. "Let's try aireal combat this time." He dawned his mask once more. This time though, the seven inch spines that ran down each side of his head were more prominant.

"By the way, your move again." Rai crossed his arms and waited...then his head started to hurt and he getting distracted. Hey dumbass! What the hell do you think you're doing! Throwing a car at your 'artwork', what else? You wanna die! Do you?

The bickering inside his head erupted in full force. SHUT UP! It was too late by then. Kano had already made his move.

(OOC: Orange equals Zanpakutou spirit, yellow equals inner hollow, italics equals thought/inside head.)
