Personality: Rika is usually the calm cool and collected type.Well at least, that's how most people view her as when they first meet her, or if they don't know her well enough. It's true that some people will think she's stuck up because she's quiet, but in reality she's just doesn't have anything to say at the time. Most don't realise it, but the the reason why she's quite most of the time is because she's observing her surroundings and the people in them. Rika is quiet intelligent, but most don't notice because of how lazy she can be most of the time. She doesn't like doing paper work, so she'll usually end up doing the bare minimum of her share of work. She also doesn't like any kind of house work, so she'll usually put those things off until last minute. Though on occasion, she get into these moods, where she wants to do certain things. She's mostly an easy person to get along with, and has this kind of relaxing aura to her. You'll only find her in the same place half of the time if your lucky. She constantly moves around and often changes her mind and does things on a whim, mainly due to the fact that she gets easily bored.
She usually tends to be a little shy when you first meet her. but after a while, when you get to know her better,, she'll open up and be more outgoing and adventurous. Rika's mostly a kind, caring and warm hearted person. She's loyal to her friends, and would protect them to the best of her abilities. If it was up to her, she would rather not fight, its not something she enjoys that much. Every one in a while, she'll have her moments, sometimes even days where she'll be mean or just in a bad mood. But above all else, she'll do almost anything to get the job done, and she wont stop until it finished.

Height: 5'7''

Physical Traits: Rika has fair ivory skin, with maybe a little bit of a tan. She has a slimmer build, but a bit more athletic than most, not to mention she has a very curvy figure. She has soft flowing golden brown hair going down to her lower back. She has choppy bangs that cover her left eye, and
her bangs and the pieces framing her face are a shimmering golden blond color. Her eyes are a silvery blue that have an icy touch to them.
Clothing: While working, Rika wears her own version of the shinigami uniform. For the top, she where something similar to a short black kimono, the only difference is that the sleeves go a little past her finger tips. The bottom of the kimono only goes to her mid thigh. In the place of the general pants for the uniform, she wears black shorts made up of a soft and comfy flexible material, allowing full range of motion. The undershirt is also made up of the same martial as the shorts.
Accessories: She always wears a silver snowflake necklace that was given to her from her parents before they died. She also wears a black leather choker that has a silver medallion with an engraving of a wolf on it, along with a leather bracelet that matches.
Fighting Style
General Fighting Style: Altho Rika can perform all fighting style's she is more adept to kido and Hoho. She doesn't use her zanpakuto often, and what she lacks in immense strength, she make up for with her speed. She'll alternate between using kido to attack from afar, to going up close to use close combat.

[i]Sealed Appearance: It looks like a regular katana. The guard has the shape of a snow flake, while the hilt is black and white.
Spirit’s Name: Khione (Aka, the snow goddess)
Spirit’s Appearance: Khione is a beautiful, young looking woman. With black, flowing hair reaching down to her waist and sapphire blue eye's, she could truly make any man look twice. Her full lips tend to send a shiver down most people's spines, however, They have a slightly pink shade to them, which pops out from her pale skin tone. Almost as if she herself were made up of the ice and snow she controls. She often wears kimonos that are blue, black , or silver in color.
Spirit’s Personality: Khione could be considered a cold and a little vain and self centered. She isn't absolutely evil, but she isn't the nicest either, you could say she's mean spirited. She can be manipulative, deceptive, quiet, distant, and surprisingly caring every once in a while. Although she's mostly in a bad mood, she can be at least somewhat pleasant when in high spirits. She doesn't show it often, but she can be quite kind and warm.
Khione considers herself a queen, or even a goddess at times.
Inner World: Khione lives in a frosty world where its almost always night and the sun rarely shines. The skies are always covered with auroras and bright stars. In the center of the world lies Khione's icy palace. Low hanging clouds seem to swirl around the castle and around the glowing core above the palace. Altho it is a beautiful place, its also a very lonely world. Because of the everlasting night, the ice and everything around it has a purple tint or glow to them. The core floating above the palace is the embodiment of Rika's heart and soul. It protects the inner world from being destroyed.
Khione can usually be found sitting on the throne that lies at the center of the palace. She considers herself as the ruler the guardian, and sometimes even the goddess of this world.

Shikai
Call Out Command: Freeze the world with your icy wrath, Khione
Appearance: Like the sealed form except the only difference is that the blade looks as if its made from ice, and it takes on a mystic glow.
Abilities: The blade as minor freezing affects that fade away after some time. If an opponent is cut by the blade, the area around the wound would be rendered immobile until the effects faded. The effects last about 5 turns.
Cold Front - Can make icy wind knock something out of the air
Reign of Ice - Causes the surrounding area to be encased in ice as long as there is some form of water around.
Ice Shield - Creates a barrier that protects against low level kido and medium level attacks for a short amount of time, about 2 or 3 turns.
Boosts: Increases in speed, increases the resistance to hot and cold temperatures.
Strength and stamina increases a when surrounded by ice
Bankai
New Name: Khione no Tensei (Khione's Reincarnation)
Appearance: The blade looks the same, but the katana itself shortened to become a knife.
Abilities: The blade of her zanpakuto has the ability to turn her opponents to ice. Any area that the blade cuts, will turn into ice, and over a period of time, it will spread out to the surrounding areas, and then eventually the whole body. The effect wears off when she calls back her bankai. It can also be reversed by being thawed out with fire or an intense heat. But if the area that was turned to ice shatters before it returns to normal, then it can never be restored. It takes about 15 to 25 posts for it to spread to the whole body. The time it takes to spread depends on where the opponent was cut. This effect is usually automatic, but it can be disabled when she wants it to.
Ice Palace - A giant ice palace identical to the ice palace in her inner world is formed, trapping opponents and herself inside. This also allows her to turn herself into anything associated with snow for a short amount of time, about 3 or 4 posts. While the prison is up, she can summon ice wolves to do her bidding, the power of these wolves are only a fraction of her strength. When they are destroyed, they explode into hundreds of ice shards. The castle will last until her bankai is recalled, or until the icy core located above the palace is destroyed. After it is destroyed, all of its effects disappear. This ability is similar to a game of man hunt, get to the core and destroy it before you die.
Ice Arrows - Allows her to form extremely sharp shards of ice from the water particles in the air and surrounding ice to fire it at the opponent. The range is how ever far she can see.
Ice Barrier - this move is a stronger version of the Ice Shield. Now able to withstand higher level kidous and attacks for a fair amount of time. It can last about 5 to 10 posts.
Boosts: All of her physical capabilities are doubled
Back Drop
Background: Rika's history is a little on the mysterious side. Altho at one point in time she had all of her memories, and full control of her abilities. Due to some event that took place some time back, Rika was left without any of her memories. What had happened was that while fighting in a battle to protect her loved ones, she was deceived by one of her allies, causing her to loose the battle. The blow of the betrayal and the deaths of her loved ones, was too much for her soul in her already weakened state. She fell into a coma, one she is still unsure of how long it lasted, and woke up to find she knew next to nothing aside from her name. Over time, she eventually began regaining her memories. Altho she has a majority of her memories back, there are still a few missing. She still cant fully remember how to control some of her abilities and skills. With having no recollection of who she truly is, or of how stong or important she was prior to the incident. She had no choice but to undergo the steps of becoming a shinigami once again.
She remembers parts of her life when she was still alive, and some moments when she was first a student of the shinigami academy. But the worst thing was that she was only able to remember glimpses and brief moments from the time of the winter war, and vaguely the times before that.
When she was still a human, Rika was the daughter of a half Japanese, half French man. Her mother was Half Greek/Roman, and half Russian. Her parents were both in very important and wealthy families. Even with her mixed lineage, her blood is considered to be that of a Noble's or Royal's.
Almost 700 years before she became a soul reaper, Rika lived in the 3rd district of Rukongai. After an encounter with the current head captain of that time, she decided to attend the soul reaper academy. The only other things she can remember is that she graduated earlier than the other students.
Side Notes: Due to the fact that Rika gets easily bored, she can sometimes act a little childishly.
She also prefers the night over day time. She is the nocturnal type, meaning her eyes are a bit more sensitive than the average person. so the sun often hurts her eyes or gives her a headache. Altho its not all the time, only when she's tired or feeling frustrated. She also enjoys reading, music and art. She is quite talented when it comes to those three skills
RP Sample: Rika's eyes fluttered open as the warm morning rays reached her face. She squinted her eyes against the glare or the bright sun as she got up and stretched, letting out a small yawn as her eyes slightly watered. As she rubbed away the sleep from her eyes, Rika shambled over to the larger window across the average sized room. Outside the window, she could see clusters of cumulus clouds in stark contrast to the surrounding deep blue sky. Placing her hand on the warm glass, Rika could tell that it was going to be another unbearably hot day. Retracting her hand, Rika closed the curtains, and turned away with a disgusted snort. Even though she had already decided on staying inside, Rika couldn't help but wish that the clusters of cumulus clouds would grow and bring afternoon showers that would help lower the outside temperature. Looking around her, she realized that she had fallen asleep on the couch again. It was an average sized room, well at least for a family room that is. The walls were painted a cedar green with with borders, and natural wood flooring. There were three doorways in the room. One led to the front door, another led to the kitchen and dining room, and the last led to a hallway for the other rooms and bathrooms.There was a tall lamp that stood in its own corner. A glass coffee table, which had a vase of roses and orchids, and several books, was placed in the middle of the room on a large beige rug. On one side of the room was a large white couch, and on the other end of the room was a smaller black couch. There was a large bookcase along the wall behind the second couch. The walls were bare save a few paintings of an icy palace, and a wolf that she created herself.
Sighing to herself, Rika walked over to the smaller couch and plopped down on it. Reaching out to a book on the table, she started to absentmindedly flip through the pages.
"Jeez, your such a lazy bum. Can't you go out and do something meaningful for once?" the icy voice of Rika's zanpakuto, Khione, cut through her thoughts. It wasn't unusual that Khione would appear, she often did it when she was bored. Khione was beautiful, but had extremely pale skin, sapphire blue eyes, and long flowing black hair. The spirit was dressed in a flowing silvery ice blue kimono as she sat regally in the couch opposite of Rika. Sighing, Rika snapped the book closed, and then turned to the snow goddess and frowned. "Well you know, you're not much better than me. I mean all you do is sit around on your icy throne in the ice palace, ordering the poor nature spirits around." Rika retorted in exasperation. "Well at least I'm doing something, unlike you. Shouldn't you be trying to regain some of your memories? Or maybe if your actually remembered how to release my shikai form?" Khione asked tauntingly. " What do you think I've been doing? Sipping margaritas on a sandy beach?" Rika snapped back, already loosing patience with the coincided zanpakuto. Reaching over to the table again, Rika retrieved a note pad and pencil from the stack.
Flipping open the book, she began scribbling a few things down on the paper. "Besides, I decided to enroll into the shinigami academy again to see if it helps with anything." Rika replied in a calmer tone, without looking up from her work.
"Hmph, no need to be snappy. I was only stating the facts. You see, didn't I just tell you that you should join the academy again? Of course a brilliant plan such as that could only originate from yours truly." With that final statement, Khione disappeared.
Although, just as she did, Rika snapped her pencil in half out of irritation. Only one though going through her mind.
'God, I swear that woman finds a way to irritate the crap out of my every time.'
