Um, yeah, new guy on the site, actually registered September 7th. My rp experience is very limited, as in a chat rp, but that didn't last long. I write fanfiction and post it on fanfiction.net, so hopefully my application, when I get to it, will be up to the site's standards. I'm 20 and is currently going to college and mainly wants to have fun with a Bleach rp that might help get the creative juices flowing for my ongoing fanfiction work. Don't worry, I won't steal anyone's character for a fanfic story. My activity on the site will be dependant on my workload in college, which hasn't been much yet but it's still early in the semester.

I do have two questions but I'm not sure who to pm or bother. My first question has something to do with the elemental correspondance thing for zanpakutou. My second question is on kido, like how many spells and the calibor of spells will be okay for a new character, all I've seen are the custom kido limits for seated officers and above.

First, what question do you have about the elemental correspondance for zanpakuto? Second, we haven't created limitations, but the way i'd look at it, seated officers could use any kidou 1-40, VC could use any kidou 1-70, and captains can use any kidou 1-99.

Actually you guys do have the limitations, I just didn't read further down. But it still doesn't really say much. The limitations help, but I don't think I'll know what kido my character will be able to use/know until I send him and see what you guys rank him power level wise. What elemental correspondances are impossible combinations besides fire and ice? Dark and Light I can also see, but beyond those I really don't have any clue. I don't think it'll matter with my character I'm creating the app for, but I want to be sure.

Also, what are you guys looking for in the RP sample? I'm a bit of a noob at this, but from what little I gathered was that it's just a little story or something. That's all I really need for the character application.

Yeah, the role play sample is really just a small story a paragraph or two, for us to see how you role play and for you to get a bit of practice at it if your new to role play. As for the combinations, any combination is possible as long as they don't contradict each other, like fire/water, fire/ice, etc. There aren't many combinations that contradict each other, so most combinations would be acceptable.

Dark and light is actually usebale, I had it on one of my old applications here. If one can control the occuarance of light, controling the absence of light, darkness, would also make sense. Anyway, do you have any more questions about the forum?

Okay. Last question, I promise . After you guys accept a character application and give it a tier/rank, what do people generally do after that? Hit the training grounds for anyone to spar? Thanks for the help and clarifications by the way.

People normally create a thread in the world their character is primarily in, to develop their character and introduce him as a force in the world. Some people start training right off the bat, though. What you do is entirely up to you.

Don't worry about the help, it's no problem. I had a lot of questions when I first began roleplaying, and I was glad to have people to help. I just want to make sure new members feel welcome and know whats going on.

Okay, that brought up a new question, where would I post the new thread?

Nevermind. Character will be a shinigami so it will be Soul Society. But I'm guessing whichever section is most appropriate. Correct me if I'm wrong.
