Apparel: Midou is an elderly man with long white hair and a short scruffy beard. He wears nothing but his shinigami attire except when he sleeps. I will be nice and not describe that part. His eyes are blue and seem deep. He body is old but yet still lean. When seen, he gives you that "my god he looks like my grandpa" kind of vibe. He always walks around with his back straight up, his head held high. His cloths are always pressed and there is never a hair our of place.
Personality: He is a proper gentleman. However he is that funny old man around the people that know him. Around strangers he is graceful and noble. Around friends that have known him long enough he likes to joke around. He hates history since he has lived through most of it and will lecture someone about it if they get a part of it wrong. However he is also spontanious, he has been known to be a bit of a leecher with the way he acts around women he knows really well. However he tries to be a fine gentlemen at times and always demands proper respect and always give it to those he thinks deserves it.


Zanpakutou Name: Pevan
Zanpakutou Apparel: The zanpaktou sealed looks like a cane. It is rounded with the entire thing appearing to be metal. It has carved at one what looks like a tail while at the the other then the head of a tiger. Tigers are the old mans favorite animal. The metal running along the staff appears to be stripped to make the shape of a tigers fur and the staff will be seen to be used to support the old man. However when the its time for him to use it as a sword, the cane disappears and it shows an unsheathed katana. The Kanata is the same length of the cane making a bit longer then most blades. The katana however does not have a spec of dirt on it. Niether does the cane.
Zanpakutou Spirit: The inner spirit looks identical to a tiger, the orange however being blue and the black stripes remain the same as well as the white.
Zanpakutou Inner World: It is a cottage that is fully furnished. Laying on a couch is typically Pevan.


Call Out Phrase: Weep, Pevan
Shikai Apparel: The katana blade turns blue and water starts to drip off of it. Other then this no real changes.
Shikai Abilities: The blade itself can slash out sending up waves of water even drawing the water out of the air if needed. He can draw water from anywhere, even his own body, and should his zanpaktou ever make direct contact with his oppenet he can draw the water out of their body where he struck. He also has the ability in shikai to point out a finger and send out a small stream of water. The waters pressure is able to change making it a small sprinkle, to a the same as a water saw able to slice through the hardest of steel.

Bankai

Call Out Phrase: Bankai
Bankai Apparel: The blades shape changes until it looks like waves and at the same time summons dark cloud above the area of where he has activated Bankai.
Bankai Abilities: At this point he can turn his blade into water and control it any way he likes. However this is the only water he can perform the following tricks with; he is able to freeze or liquify the water and move it around making it a versitale attack and defensive weapon. Should someone freeze his water, he can simply unfreeze it a moment later. The water that makes his blade is his to control and noone elses.
The other ability is his most deadly. This ability is only able to be used in bankai. The dark clouds summoned by his activation of bankai makes it start raining. It causes a down pour. This water however is artifical, as soon as it hits the ground it disappears and goes back into the clouds to rain down again. This leaves the oppenet, the user, and the ground still dry. Nothing ever becomes wet. The thing that makes this attack deadly is when in Bankai, Midou can change all waters form. His blade he can move the water and make it flow like he wants, this water and any other however he cant. What he can do is change the temperature of all water. This includes the oppenets, he can turn ice to water, water to boiling hot water, boiling hot water to steam, and steam to ice. So on and so forth as he sees fit. He is unable to stop the waters momentum or how much of it but he can change the temperature. For example if an oppent attacked him with ice he could turn it to water, at its momentum it would still harm him but not as badly.



Background: Midou was originally born as an aristocrat. He was brought up that way and lived that way. He did nothing more then what he was supposed. He led an uneventful life which eventually lead to him dieing of old age. Upon arriving in rukongai he tried to live a life he was used but couldn't. He eventually was taught of commoners acted and began to like it. However he could never drop his aristocrat attitutude around strangers and that has been stuck with him for forever. He did however learn to joke around and have fun. One day though he decided to join the shinigami academy because he noticed he had the ability to use reiatsu and wanted to further develope it. He studied hard at the academy and excelled with excellent grades. Upon graduating he became a shinigami and worked for many years until becoming old enough to retire. Before his retirement he had earned the title of vice-captain but retired just before the espada incident. However after the incident, he felt more danger was near and began to train again eventually achieveing bankai through secluded training in his home. Now Central 46 was informed of him achieving bankai but they were not worried since nothing was going on they had no need for the old man. However with the rebels now showing their ugly heads they have called the old man back into action to help try and put down the rebellion.

Only one problem with the bankai... You say once it hits the ground, it goes back up, leaving it dry. So is this like it doesn't hit it at all?

It hits it for a small second, but once it does its goes back up. However whatever moisture is hit goes back up into the air to rain down again. So it gets wet for a second then becomes dry again.

Couple concerns I need clarification for ^__^;;;

When you say you can draw out an opponent's water, how much does this mean? Will losing his own body water cause him issues, as well, during a combat situation? The body already loses moisture via breath and sweat, among other functions. Are we essentially saying that the character will dry up?

For bankai and his ability to manipulate any water's temperature, does that mean he can boil the water inside the character's body? Bodily function can only operate within a small set of parameters, even slight tampering would cause immense problems.

Only the water that the blade touchs. Only draining it from that section of skin and blood and such. It wont take alot just a little. But enough little slashes can leave the targets dehydrated and cause them to faint. While as far the temperature goes I honestly never considered even doing that, but where it does fall in the ability spectrum I wouldn't do it because thats just patheticly cheap.
