The academy.
The youth of the academy mingled and spoke joyfully of getting their zanpakutou. Their futures shined bright in their faces as a new world would soon be opened up to them.
The time of graduation drew near for certain students that long trained and mastered their skills in order to gain the approval of their masters. Riniglypho and several other of her clique stood outside the academy durring a break from their difficult classes. They totalled 5 people mixed in gender but all equally social.
They were so happy with one another but they were missing Pokre, their bigger friend. Pokre went out several days before on a food run but never came back. The group figured Pokre ate himself sick and could not return but how wrong they were.
A chubby pale student with lifeless eyes and limp arms, wondered by the group. Riniglypho immediately recognized the student as Pokre.
"Pokre!" she said with glee.
The zombified student's neck cranked, with a terrible crack, around 180 degrees, facing the female classmate. Looks of horror crossed the faces of the younglings. An evil shark tooth grin crosses Pokre's face. His back began to morph and twist. A male student saw this and cautiously approched his friend.
"Are you alright Pokre-k.."
Cut off in his words an arm would outstetch from the back of Pokre and stabs deep within the gut of the student. The arm aimed to grab hold of the youngling's spine and rip it in twine.
None of the other classmates could react but stood in shock of the horror they beared witness to.

He had been visiting the Academy on a annoying mission to see if any of the new recruits were Physically built for the 11th division. He happened to be in the same hallway as several students talking with them about how to grow stronger so that one day they could possibly fight Baruko Kenpachi evenly in a spar. That, however, changed when he noticed someone stab his hand through the body of another person.

"What the hell is this.." he said as he grabbed the Person who had attacked and attempted to slam them against the nearest wall. "Call the 4th division.. get that guy to a medic member immediately.." he barked at the other students who were in shock then turned his attention back to the offender. "What are you trying to pull..attacking another student and possibly killing him." he said feircely whether he had managed to grab the person or not. Something felt..wrong. This guy didn't seem like a normal academy student..Baruko sensed a truer power..his gut was telling him this guy was a major threat. With that gut feeling in mind he became more cautious.

Grabbing himself by the hair, Pokre peeled off from the side of the hallway leaving a bit of rotten flesh from his right cheek on the wall. With a jerk and pop Pokre manuvered his body to the students as they ran for help. His bones creeked an cracked as he pulled himself back into proper zombie posture, standing tall but tilted to the left.
"Running..." a chilling childish voice echoed from the body of the strange student with his lips not giving an inch "...but I want to play..."
The students face hung with a gaping jaw,tongue to the chin, and eyes rolling back to see his brain. The chunky being turns about to face this new arrival.
"Play...with...me?" The voice continued as Pokre slowly made his way to his next playtoy "Play?".
The being clenched his right fist and thrusted forth aiming to crack the jaw of his adversary. Following the blow came the body of Pokre rolling over with all what seemed to be 349lbs in an attempt to crush his target.

Baruko grabbed the fist as it came towards him and with little effort tosses the being over onto its back using its own momentum as it tried to roll. He wasn't sure what it was but it certainly wasn't human. Perhaps hollow? He drew his Zanpaktou..which immediately turned into its shikai form as to resemble an oversized Claymore. This..he swung with deadly speed at the thing he deemed Killable and whether he hit or not would have shatter most the hallway infront of him from the pressure behind the blow. he did however aim for the things head as he tried to cleave it in two.

Baruko immediately forms strategies and plans in an offense-based manner. The thing wasn't human and it killed a student. Therefore in his mind it was as good as dead.

The head of the fiend popped into small white chunks of skull, and brain juices sprayed about painting the a dripping red. The blow stopped mysteriously before the jaw leaving the tounge flapping around like a fish out of water on the row of teeth.
The hands of the being reached up, patting about, expecting to feel the once present piece still remaining. Instead all the palms found were squirts of blood.
The body jolts back as if in shock. It then ceased and placed its bloody hands on its jolly big jelly belly and oddly enough a "Ho ho ho" could be heard from deep with in thee belly of the devastated thing.
The being tilted over pointing its exposed thoat to its enemy and a ray of destructive light shot from the hole with a radius of half the hallway. If the shinigami chose to dodge he would find the chubby beast had appeared behind him with some fast moving technique attempting to give him a bloody bear hug.



*OCC: The real opponent isn't the fat kid but is a hollow hiding inside the corpse of the fat kid. That is why his head can get blown off and he still be alive

Raiken arrived to the scene of the podey being having it's head knocked off.

"That... is just what I wanted to see at this time of day." Raiken said.

Then, he realised that the being still moved, and fired what seemed to be a Cero towards the shiigami that had currently enguaged it.

Raiken was behind it, and dashed fowards, his Zapakuto still sheathed, until the last moment, where he pulled it out from his obi sash, and delivered a swift cut to the being's arm, at the same time.

The aim was to sever the arm. If this thing was what it seemed to be, that would make killing it easier.

After all, not every being can survive having it's head blown off, and fire what seemed to be a Cero.

He laughed as he recognized the beam for what it was. It was a cero.. he knew it from his spar's with his VC.. Blaze Amano. His blade came up and in one fluid motion was swinging right back down as his Zanpaktou collided with the Cero. The new power of its shikai form causing the cero to split down the middle and harmlessly hit the ground behind him on both sides. This of course damaged the building but that was an acceptable loss. He then swung the blade releasing his reiatsu along with it to make what he calls a "Spirit Blade" which is really his reiatsu in his zanpaktou reaching out as an increase in length. This reiatsu would try to slice down upon the thing he suspected to be a hollow and if it hit would split the body down the middle. He sensed another person and then watched as he tried to cut the things arm off. He was at first annoyed because he was jumping into a fight he didn't need to..but then thought that it was a nessicary action. So he let it go.
