Fay yawned widely, stretching back, smiling. As Fay slowly returned to his original slouching position, he whistled a short and happy tune. Early that day Fay was appointed to be vice captain of squad 12. He admired Akira, the captain of squad 12's work and discoveries. After he joined squad 12, he dreamed of being vice captain, not captain because he wanted to work under his hero's command, and now his dream came true. As he waited, in front of his captains office to greet him, his boredom grew and grew. he eventually let out a long yawn and fell asleep, standing up in front of the door...

"uuhhhhhh.... HUH! OH NO, I OVER SLEPT, THIS IS BAD" Fay stammered as he woke up from his deep slumber, the sun had already set and nightfall had already began. Fay thought to himself "Oh crap, what will Captain Akira think of me now? he will think I'm a slacker, and that i shouldn't be his vice captain, and that he will kick me out of squad 12, and no other squad will want me, and i'll become a rogue..." Fay thought on, letting his wild imagination run off on his own. he kept on thinking and noticed how stupid he was thinking and decided to walk back to the barracks, after all, Akira didn't seem like he was coming any time soon, maybe pulling off experiments in the research and development bureau. Fay started to stroll back to the barracks, smiling the whole time, but yet he was sluggish of fatigue. after a couple of yards, he stopped and turned back suddenly, he thought that Akira would be out at night, so he ran towards the office again, tripping from being so tired. once he arrived, he stood at the door, back straight and ready to battle position, hoping that when Akira would first see him, he will think that he was an excellent Shinigami...

Akira who was off running experiments all day at the bureau decided now would be a good time to just relax with the enjoyment of reading the new manga he receved just the other day from the human world. As he walked to his office to collect his manga Akira streached and yawned, but as he streached his back cracked and poped leaveing him hunched over in pain, "oh damn,.. Damn that hurts" Akira called out as he went to a knee. Akira now on all fours crawled towards his office hopeing no one would see him in this condition. Now as Akira was nearly to his office he seen a young shinigami standing out side of it, "Aww man,.. Just my luck, someones right out side my office" Akira then tryed to get to his feet but as he did he let out a loud grunt. Seeing that this grunt has alerted the shinigami's attention his way Akira let out a sigh before asking in embarrassment. "Hey, you there, a little help please. (*.,Sigh,.*)"

As Fay yawned widely, he was starting to doubt he would come until he saw the man on all four. Fay stared at the man, holding back his laughter until he noticed it WAS Akira. "OH, SIR! Ummmm SURE, What do you me to do? I mean... help you up? or ummmmm get something for you.... OH! I'm Fa- Well ummmmmm, i guess I should help you, or um-mm, yeah" He stammered out loud, totally shock to see his hero acting so strangely, then he let his imagination run out and got an all fours next to him, "THIS MUST BE A NEW TRAINING TECHNIQUE YOU MUST'VE COME UP WITH... Naaah, that would be dum..." he said as he started to get up, then back down, "THEN AGAIN< I MIGHT BE WRONG..." He then got up abruptly, making himself look like an total idiot in front of his hero, his expression of stupidity on his face turned serious. helping the captain get up and handing the shieth of his own Katana to Akira to use as a cane.

"Well, sorry for my act of stupidity just now." He bowed down in front of Akira. "I am Fay D. Flowright your new Vice captain. I was waiting to.... kinda... like meet you sir he got up, a tired expression on his face, his blonde hair was ruffled all over, but his bright blue still showed, showing fatigue but yet excitement. He took out his hand to shake Akira's and he slowly cocked his head to the left and smiled at him.
