The sun had been high up in the sky as it was around noon. Takehiko had been sitting in the shade meditating with his zanpakuto. He had been speaking with it, increasing their connection with each other in hopes of becoming stronger. However, Takehiko was interrupted by a strange feeling. As his eyes opened up back under the shade provided by a tree, he looked around. "Roiben-taicho!" he said as he stood up and picked up his zanpakuto that he had stuck into the ground in front of him. As he sheathed it, he disappeared from where he stood. Being in the onmitsukido, Takehiko was pretty fast with his shunpo. However, he was not as fast as Yoruichi or even Soi Fong, but nonetheless, still fast. Within seconds, Takehiko had appeared outside of Roiben's captain chamber. He did not kneel outside the door as most subordinates would to their captains, instead, he just merely knocked at the door. From within, Takehiko heard Roiben's voice "Come in". As he heard it, he slid the door open and walked in. With a few quick glances, he noticed the stack of paperwork that had been finished and a cup with sake in it. "Taicho, don't you think it's a little too early to be drinking?" Takehiko said as he walked in and approached his desk. He rested a hand on the desk as he watched Roiben drinking. "Well?" he finished as he gave a death scowl at Roiben.

Takehiko just gave his death glare at the cup as a sign of 'Get that away from me.' Words were unncessary with that look. People would know exactly what it meant. "Yes, captain, I see that all of your paperwork is done. But it's as if you've completely forgotten about the fallen. What are we going to do about them? Let them escape? Let them destroy Soul Society?" Takehiko stood up straight and a look of seriousness overtook his scowl. "Shunsui or not, we need to be preparing for their next assault. Taicho!" he said as he had no response from the captain who just continued to sit at his desk. "have you nothing to say on the matter?" Takehiko asked as he was interrupted by yet another knock on the door. "You seem to be the popular man this afternoon, Roiben. You see what happens when you drink this early? Now you have to face someone else drunk." Takehiko's death scowl reappeared as he looked into Roiben's eyes.

*Blaze entered the room. His dark grey eyes were representing his fury towards Roiben when he entered the room. Blaze's almost never seen haori was on. The symbol for the 11th division standing out brightly against its white background. His muscles seemed tense as his hands were closed in fists. The burned flesh of his left hand that normally was always hidden stood out as the sinew in the hand seemed to stand out unnaturally. He was in such a rush to get to Roiben, he didn't bother putting on his typical gloves but, he did put on his haori. He wanted Roiben to notice off the bat that he was serious about why he came here. It was not for fun and games in the slightest.*

*When Blaze spoke, you could tell the fury in his voice was being repressed but only slightly." *You stopped me, and you let the damn traitor escape. Now how do you plan on fixing this."

*Blaze was mad, was it just anger. Probably not. He always hated traitors more then anything else since they were the reason he was a vizard and the reason his wife was dead. Normally Roiben would have been thanked for the back up as well he should be, but right now all Blaze wanted was someone, or something to blame. And for the moment that something was Roiben.*

Takehiko stood to the side giving Roiben the "I told you so" look as Blaze entered with a rage that shook the whole room. "I have been telling him the same, Blaze-taicho." Takehiko said as he walked up behind him. "However, what he says is true. Neither of you could have helped the fact that Nanashi escaped. If you tried, you surely would have been hurt severly." he finished as he bowed his head slightly. He then realized that Roiben was offering the cup of sake to Blaze. "Roiben-taicho, I'm willing to put money down that you're the only one drinking at this hour." Takehiko and Roiben had the relationship where Takehiko wasn't afraid to stand up to the captain even though he was a superior ranking officer. He knew Roiben didn't like listening to his lectures, but he didn't care. After all, who actually enjoyed receiving lectures?

"Now, Blaze-taicho, please return to your chambers and relax. This is no way to behave around the Second Squad. You should really meditate on this situation instead of rushing in to blame others for mistakes that they could not help." Takehiko bowed his head yet again in apology for speaking his mind in such a rude manner, but Takehiko wouldn't tolerate such behavior to his captain.

*Blaze shot the vice-captain a glare that said for him to not poke his nose where it didn't belong. A vice-captain would try and tell a Captain what to do? Even if he could stand up to Roiben, that didn't mean Blaze would stand for it. He completely ignored the vice-captains comments about leaving and turned back towards Roiben. Roiben wasn't helping with Blazes anger, the way he acted like nothing was wrong. It completely infuriated him. His hands shook with rage as he wanted to punch Roiben in the face for the way he was acting. But Blaze held his rage and was struggling but managed to keep it in check.*

"You never answered my question...How do you plan on fixxing this? The second squad is supposed to be the ones in charge of manors like this. Or am I just over estimating your abilities as an assassin?" *There was spite in Blazes words and he wanted to make sure Roiben got the fact that he completely and entirely blamed him*

"I told you, Blaze-taicho." was all Takehiko said as he shut his eyes and continued to stand facing toward him. "You really should leave now. You are in the second squad's chambers disrespecting the second squad captain. Leave or I will force you." Takehiko said placing his hands behind his back. He had opened his eyes up once again and stared right into Blaze's eyes with a cold glare of death and forlorning. This look was nothing like his death glares that he had given earlier, this look was of utter seriousness. Takehiko did not flinch or blink as he just continued to stare down the intruding captain. Although Takehiko might lecture Roiben as well, he knew the limits and boundaries of the captain and vice-captain. He would never dare to think down upon the assassination skills of Roiben, Commander-General of the Onmitsukido.

"If your skills were so sharp then you would have killed Nanashi right away instead of trying to arrest him.' *Blaze then turned to the Vice-Captain with a look that showed no fear at all. He could care less what the vice-captains threats were.* "I will leave once I have finished my conversation. And not before. Now stop interrupting us. Now, do what your good at and sink into the shadows until I finish my talk with your captain."

*With that Blaze turned back to Roiben, his eyes showing that even though he was surrounded by assassins he could care less and no fear of them.* "Now explain to me, how the leader of a bunch of assassins managed to lose track of not just the leader of an enemy army, but everyone in the whole damn army! You couldn't manage to have one of them followed as they fled from the Gotei 13!? Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic." *Blaze then turned away in disgust and walked to the door.*

*Just before he left however he turned back towards Roiben and smiled a wicked smile* "Oh, before I forget. I am me. and I will doubt your assassination skills." *With that Blaze turned and left the room. The door closing with a loud bang as he went*

Takehiko nodded at Roiben in agreement with his statement. "If you like, I can kill him in his sleep." he said as he showed his zanpakuto to Roiben. He was half joking and half serious. The joking part showed as he smiled when he said it. "I don't know who put a stick up his ass, but he should be greatful that we at least killed one of the leaders. Kill the leaders and the army will follow suit." Takehiko said as he too walked toward the door of Roiben's chamber. "You better not drink too much of that sake." he said as he lowered his head and closed his eyes. His back was to Roiben when he said it, however. He placed his hand on the door and slid it open as the light from outside shined through and he stepped out, closing it behind him. "Blaze sure has some nerve." he said in a hushed tone to himself as he disappeared in a flash from Roiben's step outside. All that could be seen by Roiben was his sillhouette disappearing out of nowhere.

Roiben laughed as his vice-captain offered to take care of Blaze. Roiben had thought about doing the job himself a time or two, but he knew it was illegal. Besides, he was arrogant, but Blaze was a powerful asset to the gotei 13. Takehiko warned him not to drink too much of the sake. That was a good idea, considering how early it was. Still, drinking a little wouldn't hurt him. After all, his paperwork was done, and he wouldn't have his report on the search for the fallen for another day or two.
